Revealing mistake: The "rain" falls in straight vertical lines, but stops hitting the parking lot pavement about 5' behind Cecilia. Within a small area, rain is much heavier in some spots than others and does not appear to be hitting various objects or people (although clothes are wet). It is not noticeably raining while James walks into his house, but rain pours right outside the front door when a camera picks up a front view of James at the now-open front door. Revealing mistake: When Cecilia is lifting an iPhone up to her ear, it starts ringing as if she's making a call. But on the screen, you can very easily tell it doesn't say "dialing" or "calling" - it's a timer showing how long the call has been going on. She was already on a call before pretend-calling. (01:42:47)

Other mistake: The van used by Cecilia to chase Tom should be damaged because of the crash, but it was not.

Continuity mistake: When Cecilia is talking to Adrian at the dinner table towards the end of the movie, the food on the plate is situated differently from shot to shot as they converse.

Continuity mistake: Final dinner, Cecilia has a bandage on her left wrist. Then in the toilet she hasn't. Back in the dining room, she wears it again.

Audio problem: When the invisible man slaps Sydney (making Cecilia look guilty), the sound of a bare hand slap is heard. But the invisible man was wearing gloves as part of his suit, so the sound would have been duller and blunt.

Gavin Jackson

Deliberate mistake: The suit, rather than using many large cameras, should be created with many imperceptibly small cameras in between monitors. We need monitors to see what is on the other side of the suit, not camera lenses.

Suggested correction: The monitors are on the inside, behind the cameras.

Continuity mistake: When Cecilia's talking with Tom in his office her hair's over the front of her left shoulder. A shot of Tom and suddenly her hair's over the front of both shoulders. A shot later it's back to being just over the front of her left shoulder.

Continuity mistake: When Adrian's throat gets slit, he is shown clutching his neck with his hand, then falls from the chair he is sitting on and collapses onto the floor. He is also shown banging his hand on the table whilst he falls over. This same moment is then shown again on the CCTV camera, but here, he is shown falling from the chair and collapsing onto the floor, all while clutching onto his neck the entire time. The moment where he bangs his hand on the table is not shown.

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: When Cecilia and Adrian are speaking at the dinner table towards the end, after Adrian says "I would burn everything I own just to prove that to you", Cecilia says "okay" and Adrian also replies with "okay." At this moment, Adrian's hands are placed on the table. In the next shot, Adrian's hands are suddenly raised slightly, above the table.

Casual Person

Continuity mistake: When Cecilia shows the champagne bottle she holds it by its neck or by the upper part, depending on the shot.

Sacha

Continuity mistake: When Cecilia is at the restaurant with her sister, the position of her hands is inconsistent between shots.

Sacha

Trivia: Adrian's last name is Griffin, like the main character in HG Wells's book.

Answer: Wealthy Adrian controlled every aspect of Cecilia's life, so he most likely prohibited her from working - she was his stay-at-home "trophy wife." Cecilia asked "invisible" Adrian, "So why me? I'm just a suburban girl who stumbled into your life one night at a party... There's nothing left for you to take. You've already taken it all", which implies even preventing her from getting employment or starting a career. Cecilia did graduate from "Cal Poly Architecture", so she had skills/ability (evidenced by her portfolio of drawings), but she was stuck at the "aspiring architect" level. She told the job interviewer at "Ruler" architecture, "After Cal Poly, I worked in Paris for six months." That's the extent of her employment history - Adrian took over her life after that. There were no indications in the movie that Cecilia was employed when she finally left Adrian. It appears she just took the first step toward starting her career now that she had (or thought she had) her freedom back.
