The position of the kid's hands keep changing between shots, and when Monk tells him he's the son of the captain, Tufts' hand is suddenly on the handle of the saber. (00:07:10)
Revealing mistake: In the famous alligator scene, Gary Cooper holds in his arms Mari Aldon and begins crossing the river. Right after they get in the water for the first time there's an underwater shot where a line pulling the alligator across the screen is visible. (00:42:45)
Revealing mistake: When Captain Quincy Wyatt interrogates a captive Seminole Native American by threatening him with a poisonous snake, the native is safe because there is a protective piece of glass between him and the snake. The snake's reflection is quite obvious on the glass panel. (01:14:40)
