Continuity mistake: When Aunt May first answers her front door it opens outward. Every other time the door is shown it opens to the interior as it should - front doors always open inwards.

7.4/10.Not the mess I expected. It could've been a little sharper still it had an interesting premise. It wasn't the pits like the MCU Spider-Man movies with their SJW moments. Here Miles Morales is learning the mantle of Spider-Man with help of Peter Parker from another universe, pretty good idea.I commend the filmmakers for sticking to an idea and seeing it through. One thing they did I thoroughly liked was Gwen Stacy, Here she's a more developed and interesting character.I liked her as Spider-Gwen, the best use of her ever in any of the Spider-Man media.Yes I also liked Spider-Ham.I only wish they'd had Spider-Man 2099 and Ben Reilly Spider-Man in there.Otherwise it's a pretty solid movie.
This film was just okay. It's not the absolute dumpster fire that the "Amazing Spider-Man" movies are, but it doesn't stand up to the first two Sam Raimi films or the MCU films, either. The premise is interesting enough, but the other Spider-Man characters are barely developed and therefore not very interesting. The design on the Kingpin is also completely ridiculous, to the point where he was annoying to even look at.
Stan: That person who helps others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing to do, is indeed without a doubt, a real superhero.
Trivia: The animators created many small flaws in the film in order to emulate the looks of old comics. This includes color separation and a slight double-image effect in certain scenes to replicate imperfect comic-printing techniques. While the effect was intentional, many film-goers who saw the movie in 2D actually complained about these effects, thinking they were accidentally sold tickets to a 3D movie. (Especially due to the double-image effects).
Question: What was Jeff talking about when he said Miles said they made a deal with the school about weeknights.

Answer: It's a boarding school, but Miles wants to return to his old school. Miles made a deal with his dad that he would attend the new school and stay there during the week, even though he could commute as they don't live too far away. In return, he is permitted to go home at the weekend.
