Factual error: The opening sequence says "December 1944", then shortly afterwards we cut to "eight years earlier" which would be 1936. A few seconds later, the announcer says "Fifteen years in the league and still standing", which would have been 1938 because Berg entered Majors in 1923. In post-game chat, the manager asks him to switch to coaching (consistent with his 1939 retirement), but then immediately brings up the Japan tour including Ruth, Gehrig, et al, which actually occurred in 1934. Other mistake: Recreated newsreel of a trip to Japan by Moe Berg before Pearl Harbor attack shows copyright date of MCMXLIV (1944) in the lower left corner, 3 years after the attack. (00:16:25)
Factual error: USAF is written on the underside of an aircraft's left wing. The U.S. Air Force wasn't created until later. Flight operations were still conducted by the U.S. Army.
Suggested correction: The plane actually has "USAAF" written on the wing: United States Army Air Force.
