Continuity mistake: During the briefing of the American soldiers before the war with the Canadians, watch the background whenever we cut back to the big-general. The soldiers change positions on a fairly regular basis.
Continuity mistake: In the cartoon series, Stan's house has a cellar at the side, but throughout the film, no cellar is visible.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where they go to the pond after watching the movie, Wendy and her boyfriend are not on the ice, but in the another shot shortly after she skates up to Stan.
Continuity mistake: Throughout the movie, Cartman's electric shock due to the V chip changes from Cartman being shocked in the middle of a swear to Cartman being shocked at the end of a swear.
Continuity mistake: When the boys are in the lunch line and Stan is singing about Wendy, you can see that the "Terrance and Phillip" T-shirts that Stan and Kyle are wearing are mirror images of how they should appear, with the "T&P" written backwards. Also, Kyle's shirt design changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: In the scene when they have just found out that America is at war, there's a long shot of the playground, a red ball is just kicked behind Stan, Kyle and Cartman. Then in the close-up shot, the red ball has disappeared.
Answer: Some versions of the film (VHS in Australia for one) contain the reference to the letter. Terrance: "Well, f*** my a** and call me a b**ch. I just got a letter." Phillip: "A letter from who, you sh**-sucking co**master?" Terrance: "It's from your mother." Phillip: "My mother sent YOU a letter? What's it say?" "Terrance: It says, 'Dear Terrance, please don't ever tell my son that I licked your hairy b***s.'"
