xXx: Return of Xander Cage

A satellite crashes in Brazil, killing an NSA agent, Augustus Gibbons. Shortly after, rogue CIA agent Jane Marke gathers a group of skilled individuals called the xXx program to recover a device known as "Pandora's Box," which can control military satellites.

Meanwhile, Xander Cage, who faked his death and has been living off the grid, is tracked down and reluctantly joins the mission. Xander and his new team consisting of tech specialist Becky Clearidge, sharpshooter Adele Wolff, and stunt driver Tennyson Torch, begin their mission to locate the missing device.

Their investigation leads them to casino owner and criminal syndicate leader Xiang, who they believe stole Pandora's Box. Xander infiltrates Xiang's team by participating in an extreme sport event hosted by Xiang. Xander befriends Xiang and learns that he is not the enemy they initially believed him to be.

Together, Xander and Xiang discover that Pandora's Box has the power to crash any satellite from anywhere in the world. They realise that Jane Marke is the true villain, as she plans to use the device to cause global chaos and consolidate power. Xander and Xiang decide to form an alliance to stop her.

The team recruits additional xXx members, Serena Unger and Hawk, and a plan is formed to steal Pandora's Box from a heavily guarded high-security CIA building. They succeed in stealing the device but are apprehended by Jane Marke, who reveals that Augustus Gibbons faked his own death to rally Xander back into action.

Jane forces Xander and his team to cooperate, telling them that the device is rigged with a tracker. They must use the device to locate a CIA plane carrying stolen satellite codes in order to prevent it from crashing. Xander and his team infiltrate the heavily guarded airplane and successfully retrieve the codes.

However, it becomes clear that Jane has no intention of allowing them to stop the satellite crashes. She orders a drone strike on the plane, betraying Xander and his team. They manage to escape using parachutes and land in an open field.

With time running out, Xander plans to use the satellite system's built-in failsafe to prevent further crashes. They track Jane to an island where she intends to use Pandora's Box to activate the satellites remotely.

Xander and his team infiltrate the island but are confronted by Jane and her forces. A massive battle ensues, with Xander ultimately defeating Jane in hand-to-hand combat and destroying Pandora's Box.

With the threat neutralized, Xander, Serena, and the rest of the xXx team celebrate their victory. Xiang and his team decide to return to their criminal activities, but on more ethical grounds.

In the end, Augustus Gibbons reveals himself to Xander, congratulating him on his success but leaving him to wonder about his future. Xander decides to continue living life on his own terms and walks away, ready to face whatever challenge comes next.

Continuity mistake: When we see Serena for the 1st time leaning against the column she is wearing high heeled black boots. Later when she is on the beach after Xander took Pandora's Box, she is wearing low square heeled boots.

The first was the "Fast and the Furious" franchise - Diesel starred in the original, didn't appear in the second film, and then returned to the series with a surprise cameo in the third film and appearing in every subsequent sequel thereafter.
