Factual error: When the coach explains to Jesse why he did not make the 1924 Olympics in Paris, he tells of crashing a Stearman aircraft. That was impossible, as the Stearman Aircraft Company was not founded until 1927.
Factual error: In the Templehoff Airport flyover scene there are Soviet era Antonov An-12 propeller driven aircraft on the tarmac. These were first used by the Soviets in 1953.
