Continuity mistake: In the early scene, when Maura is talking to the man in the corner, that she thinks is homeless, she stands up and has a green bag on her shoulder. When she asks for the sunscreen back, there is no sign of her bag. Then it's back on her shoulder.

Always a pleasure to see the Fey-Poehler duo on screen, especially with an interesting inversion of their usual roles. However, besides the relatable nostalgic theme and a couple decent secondary characters, the movie lacks a real point or arc to characters it obviously wants us to feel us somehow close to. Gratuitously crass and uneven in pacing, it has no business clocking it at almost 2 hours.
-60/10. Why oh why do they keep doing this? Why do studios keep throwing Tina Fey and Amy Poehler at us? Do they really think we find these failures of SNL funny? Here the plot's irrelevant, it only serves to set up the ridiculous jokes and gags they try to pull off.
Maura Ellis: Blue? What would possess a person to paint stained wood blue? What, were you raised on a tugboat?
