Continuity mistake: Just after Al Pacino meets John Goodman for the first time, Goodman sings the song "Sea of Love" at the table. While he's doing this, Pacino's cigarette jumps from his mouth to his hand.
Continuity mistake: In one scene as Al Pacino is getting out of bed, he is shown putting on his underwear. But as he gets up to pull them all the way up, you can tell that he already had them on before he got out of bed. You see the elastic band.
Continuity mistake: In the restaurant scene where Ellen Barkin first meets Al Pacino, when she leaves the table to walk out on him, she forgets to take her purse. When the camera cuts back to her as she's walking outside the restaurant, the purse is in her hand. (00:44:15)
