Wild

Continuity mistake: When Cheryl emerges from the store and begins talking to the club representative distributing flyers, the lemonade she is holding has the cap off in one shot, then on in the next. It switches hands and then disappears entirely. The flyer she holds also switches hands.

Continuity mistake: In the first stage of her walk she can't heat water because she has a red gas canister, and the instructions she reads say she needs a white canister. She then buys a white canister at the next store, happy she can then heat her food. But then she is seen cooking with the red canister, which supposedly doesn't work.

Continuity mistake: In the scene when she crosses the road in Washington or Oregon, her hair is pulled back behind her ears before she enters the road, loose and hanging in the middle of the road, and pulled back again on the other side.

Continuity mistake: About where she's heading 5 miles, in one shot Cheryl's (Reese Witherspoon) watch and bracelet are on her left wrist and in one shot they are both on her right wrist. Then throughout the rest of the film, Cheryl's watch and bracelet are on her left.

Factual error: In the close-up shots as she reaches her destination at the end of the trek you can see streaked highlights in her hair right back to the roots. If she had been trekking for three months they would have grown out quite a long way, given the lack of regular salons in the wilderness.

Cheryl: I know only that I didn't need to reach with my bare hands anymore. That seeing the fish beneath the surface was enough. That it was everything. My life -like all lives - mysterious, irrevocable and sacred, so very close, so very present, so very belonging to me. How wild it was, to let it be.
