Corrected entry: In the scene after Joel drops his parents off at the airport, he pours himself a whisky and coke. During the closeup he is pouring "New Coke" into the glass but when the shot changes he is setting down a can of Coca-Cola Classic.

Correction: It couldn't have been "New Coke" that he was pouring in, because this movie was released in 1983, and New Coke didn't come out until 1985.

Correction: Incorrect. Chicago Transit Authority runs the Chicago El (as in elevated train system) however, according to Wikipedia 12.1 miles of this system indeed runs underground.

Corrected entry: In several instances in the film, it is stated that Joel scored a 597 on the Math portion of his SATs. SAT scores are always multiples of ten. He could have scored a 590 or a 600, but not a 597.

Correction: I got a 753 verbal and 635 math in my SAT .

Visible crew/equipment: While Lana and her friend are staying at Joel's house, after dinner, Lana goes upstairs to visit Joel in his room to see if he wants to go out for ice-cream. As Lana enters the room, the bedroom door swings open and you can see a crew member's hand catch the doorknob, just before the camera pans to the right.

Question: Did Lana actually like Joel or not? She said that the night on the train was not simply a diversion while Guido and Vicki raided his house. However, she was still involved with them, after claiming that she was done working for Guido. She and Vicki "quit" when he first appeared at Joel's house.

Answer: Lana liked him, but was not in love with him. The whole Guido house raid was his way of getting what's owed to him, when Joel stole all his business. At the end of the movie, Lana and Joel walked and talked about him going away to college, with no expectations about one another continuing their relationship.
