Question: Was Joel's house also Tommy's house from the original Halloween? And has it been used in anything else, like Will's uncle's house from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air?

Directed by: Paul Brickman
Starring: Tom Cruise, Joe Pantoliano, Rebecca De Mornay, Richard Masur
Continuity mistake: In the movie's final moments when Tom Cruise is buying back all his household items, the lady in the cargo bay says "that's everything," except for the crystal egg she throws out into the yard for Tom to catch. You can clearly see many more items left in the truck. But when the truck pulls away seconds later, nothing is left in the cargo bay except our villain sitting on a chair. Where did everything else go?
Joel Goodson: Looks like the University of Illinois.
Trivia: Michael J. Fox, Tom Hanks, Nicolas Cage and Timothy Hutton all auditioned for the role of Joel.
Question: Did Lana actually like Joel or not? She said that the night on the train was not simply a diversion while Guido and Vicki raided his house. However, she was still involved with them, after claiming that she was done working for Guido. She and Vicki "quit" when he first appeared at Joel's house.
Answer: Lana liked him, but was not in love with him. The whole Guido house raid was his way of getting what's owed to him, when Joel stole all his business. At the end of the movie, Lana and Joel walked and talked about him going away to college, with no expectations about one another continuing their relationship.

Answer: Regarding "Risky Business" and "Halloween," they are not the same house. "Risky Business" was filmed in the Chicago area, while "Halloween" used California locations. If there's information about it being used in "Fresh Prince," I'll update this.
