Continuity mistake: At the start, after placing the wire along the train tracks, Gunner gets onto the left hand side of the helicopter and Christmas gets on the right hand side. When the shot changes, they have swapped sides. (00:01:30)

Continuity mistake: At the start, when Barney is hiding behind the train to avoid the AA gun, we see the landing skid slide along the track rails. Camera cuts and suddenly they are 6ft in the air. (00:02:40)

Revealing mistake: At the start, Doc shoots one of the watch towers that explodes. However, it explodes in a way that shows it to be made of something other than concrete. Something like card. (00:05:30)

Continuity mistake: When Barney and Christmas are talking in the cockpit at the start, Christmas says "I doubt it" while looking at Barney. Camera cuts and he is now looking at the chart in his lap. (00:09:20)

Continuity mistake: When Doc asks Christmas his name, Christmas is either looking at his chart or at Doc depending on the angle. (00:09:35)

Visible crew/equipment: When they guys meet up with Caesar, Barney says "You walked into that one." When he does you can see 2 people reflected in his sunglasses, other Expendables members, but you can also see what appears to be a camera outside the boat. (00:13:20)

Plot hole: Near the start we see Doc jump onto the back of a van and then on to some scaffolding. When he does this he is in plain sight of several armed men who are walking in the direction of Doc. These men would have seen Doc and raised the alarm, but they didn't. (00:16:00)

Continuity mistake: Doc places the shipping container down on top of one container with none either side but 3 in front of the door. When he picks it up, it is a block of 2x2 containers. (00:18:05)

Continuity mistake: When Barney, Christmas and Toll Road exit the shipping container, the door is open halfway. Camera cuts to another angle and the door is wide open. Camera cuts again and its back to half open. (00:18:40)

Continuity mistake: When Doc shouts that it is time to mow the lawn, the ammo belt over his shoulder disappears and appears on the mini gun. (00:19:00)

Revealing mistake: When Barney shouts at Christmas in the pickup to go right, there are already skid marks on the floor from a previous take. (00:20:05)

Continuity mistake: When Caesar is on the ground after being shot, Christmas puts his hands on Caesar's leg. Camera cuts and he is now wrapping a shirt round his hand. (00:24:15)

Continuity mistake: Doc applies pressure to Caesar's chest after the bomb has exploded. Angle changes and he applies pressure again. (00:24:15)

Continuity mistake: When Christmas and Barney are talking in the bar, Christmas has a red bruise on his head. When he confronts Barney outside the bar, it has disappeared. (00:32:00)

Continuity mistake: When Christmas follows Barney out of the bar you can see two men crossing the screen from left to right. After the cut to the next shot these two guys aren't visible anymore. (00:32:30)

Continuity mistake: Galgo says "age is only a state of mind" when he says this he has his hands up to his head. Camera cuts and they have disappeared. (00:40:00)

Continuity mistake: When we see Smilee fighting in Mexico the amount of dirt on his shirt keeps changing instantly. It's easy to spot as he has a white shirt on. (00:43:00)

Continuity mistake: Christmas throws the knife past Mars, we see Christmas walk off. Camera cuts and Christmas is back with the group before walking off again. (00:49:45)

Continuity mistake: When Stonebanks is in the truck, the amount of blood in his mouth and on his chin keeps changing depending on the angle. (01:05:00)
