Directed by: Boaz Yakin
Starring: Denzel Washington, Will Patton, Ryan Hurst, Wood Harris
Continuity mistake: After Sunshine shows up at practice with his father, he picks up a football and throws it at Bertier. On the way down, the ball looks as if it will miss the player by 2 or 3 feet to the right, but on close up it hits him square in the back - rather weakly.
Blue Stanton: Coach we need a water break, we been out here all day.
Coach Boone: What did you say?
Blue Stanton: Said, we need a water break.
Coach Boone: A water break? Water is for cowards. Water makes you weak. Water is for washing blood off that uniform and you don't get no blood on my uniform, boy you must be outside your mind! We are going to do up-downs, until Blue is no longer tired, and thirsty.
Trivia: Ironically, T. C. Williams High was named after a former Alexandria school superintendent who was a staunch opponent of racial integration.
Question: Just out of curiosity, they didn't mention what happen to that Alan guy who gave his position to Pete. Did he go on to play college ball?
