Revealing mistake: While Ray is driving the car, in the next shot of them driving down the road, you see a police car driving very slowly keeping back the traffic behind them.

Plot hole: Raymond's rigidly set routines force him to watch the TV shows "People's Court" and "Jeopardy" at the same times every day. Traveling on the road, however, this would be almost completely impossible, since the two shows aired in syndication. Not all cities aired them at the same times.

Trivia: When this movie gave a test screening, it got terrible reactions from the audience, mostly because of the ending and the public's lack of understanding of Autism. One test audience member even went so far to say that he was mad Raymond didn't "snap out of it" at the end.

Answer: It's "I Saw Her Standing There," written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, released November 1963. In addition to the Beatles, the song has been covered by Elton John, The Grateful Dead, Tiffany, and many others I'm sure.
