Continuity mistake: Near the beginning, Jones is forced to give Rene the artifact he just got. Attached to Jones and the artifact is thick spiderweb. Rene raises the artifact to show it to the tribe, and you can see the web start to rise in the first angle, still stuck to it. Cut to the next shot; the web is gone.
