Continuity mistake: Just before Russell Crowe duels with Spotted Horse, there is a rope strung across the street with what appears to be lanterns attached to it. In the next shot of Russell Crowe, the rope is gone, but Spotted Horse later accidentally shoots it down. (01:12:50)

0/10. I was feeling generous with this rating due to the fact Sam Raimi kicked off the wave of superhero movies with the Spider-Man trilogy. He's a good film maker who's got a great amount of talent. That said, what was he thinking here? Why can't people accept the fact Sharon Stone can't act? She's void of any real talent outside of flashing her body in in either risque shots or nude scenes. Leonardo Diacaprio's just as bad here, she should've married him, they'd have blended well together. Gene Hackman's talent goes to waste as he's the only actor capable in this dreary cliche ridden Western. A better story with replacements for Stone and Dicaprio like say Linda Hamilton and Paul Rudd would've been a whole lot better.
