Corrected entry: In the first edition printing of The Stand, Harold and Frannie are tracked by the Payday candy bar wrappers that Harold is constantly eating. Frannie then discovers that Harold has read her journal because of the chocolate finger prints on the pages. While the Payday candy bar has been around since 1932, it has never included chocolate as an ingredient.
Continuity mistake: In Ch. 72, Stu describes finding Harold dead, and recalls that "Harold still clutched the Permacover notebook in one stiffening hand." But earlier, in Ch. 64, Stephen King states that Harold "put the Permacover notebook into the Triumph's saddlebag" immediately before shooting himself.
