Factual error: In the film, Blackberry is shown being "raided" by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). As a Canadian company with its headquarters in Canada, the SEC, by itself, has no jurisdiction to effectuate such a raid on the premises. In real life, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) brought the case against Blackberry co-CEO, Jim Balsillie.
Other mistake: When Adam Sandler calls his daughter on a video chat in the car with her friend, the picture of his daughter is not the same as when she is in the car. When they jump between her and him on the call, her hair and background are completely different than they are in the car. (00:23:17)

The dummy is slouched in various positions or upright, and the "FBI" lapel letters are partially or fully visible. Revealing mistake: Vivian talks on the phone as she walks towards the camera. A couple walks behind her in the opposite direction. A bicyclist emerges from the left-center side of the screen and heads straight across the path, perpendicularly towards the couple. The bicyclist "disappears" behind Vivian, just before he reaches (crashes into) the couple, and the camera cuts to Carol. Seconds later, Vivian still walks towards the screen, and a different person walks where the couple was. (00:14:38)
