When they are talking, she says "it's been forever, it's already kind of worn out." Ana's ponytail is in front of her shoulder, and goes back behind her back in the next shot. (00:10:00)
Continuity mistake: Isaac is wearing tan or khaki pants but the video of him getting "beamed up" to the spaceship shows dark blue pants. (00:18:15)

Character mistake: Dean told Laura that Fiona's toiletry case was in his bag because "She couldn't fit it in her carry-on, so I put it in my luggage." Laura (who had no reason to fabricate the story to her dad Felix) changed the details, which she couldn't know based on what Dean told her: "There were some of his co-worker's toiletries in his luggage. But she couldn't put them in her carry-on for security, so he offered to put them in his luggage." Unable to fit in isn't the same as "for security." (00:13:05 - 00:23:57)
Factual error: The manner in which "Hamby" fell into the hole (or well) did not reflect physics or reality. He was running/chasing Joey and Matt. Whenever one walks or runs, one's feet are never straight down together (like standing), so only one foot could have been over the hole or failed to clear it. Hamby should have tripped and fallen over (face forward) with his upper body landing past the hole. This should have kept him from falling straight down into the hole (as if dropped from above the hole).
Visible crew/equipment: Sara is at the front door video intercom. As the man from the Department of Sanitation is leaving, you can see crew/equipment visible in the reflection. (00:27:15)
Continuity mistake: Tommy had a cup of coffee in front of him when he met Jaylene at the outside table. After Jaylene showed Tommy the picture of him and Sandy, the coffee cup was to the right of the ashtray and closer to Jaylene (as though it was hers). Revealing mistake: Near the beginning of the movie, there does not appear to be a curtain (or window) on the left side of the screen (e.g, when Samantha is sitting on the couch), but there is near the end when Chloe enters the now-empty room. Continuity mistake: Theodore rides once the tiny rollercoaster; the cart comes to a full stop and his left foot is in the space between the bars, but in the next shot the left foot is on the outside. (00:48:00)
Continuity mistake: The sign in the hallway (only "hole" is visible) is closer to the two light brown doors to the right before Erin's dorm room door on the left, but looks closer to Erin's door when Sproule goes to her room. Audio problem: When we are first introduced to Hayden lecturing the classroom, the shots from behind do not match the sound with the movement of his jaw.
Factual error: After sleeping in and being late for practice, Jack is driving to the gym. It is supposed to be morning yet the shadows made by the sun show the sun is setting over the ocean and therefore evening.
Continuity mistake: When Maggie runs through the Hollywood hills and stops to snap pictures of the Hollywood sign, the sky shows the sun just went down behind the horizon. But when she looks at the results of her pictures on her phone, the sign has direct mid-day sunlight on the letters of the sign.
Factual error: TV reporters said "home invasions" and mentioned trying to find the people who were responsible for the "70 robberies." Lance (in prison), was talking to a woman who was going to write a book and told her he got "twelve years" for "fifteen counts of robbery and vandalism." The crime Lance and the rest of the group were committing fits the legal definition of "burglary" in Illinois (basically, entering an occupied structure with the intent to commit a felony or theft inside; the structure does not have to be occupied at the time of the act). Because there happened to be someone at home during their last (intended) "burglary", this offense would be classified as a "robbery."
Factual error: Rich told Jamie, "There was a car accident. Guy came in. I cut when I should've stitched or stitched when I should've cut. I don't even know. His family sued in civil court, and I lost everything." A doctor working at a hospital would have been required to carry malpractice insurance, which would have protected him from "losing everything." Also, it would be difficult to prove that a car accident victim who died during surgery was a victim of malpractice; most cases are settled out of court. (00:38:30)
Continuity mistake: Brahms was quite clean for having been buried under dirt and leaves. No dirt fell off Brahms' body when Jude pulled him out of his "grave" and there did not appear to be dirt in his hair. When Sean (Jude's father) held up Brahms, the doll looked relatively clean - or cleaner compared to when Liza (Jude's mother) started to wash him. (00:14:10 - 00:15:45)
Revealing mistake: When the black cat was going up the staircase and got to the first landing, it turned its head to look directly at the camera, then continued climbing the staircase. (00:08:13)
Revealing mistake: The candles on the long dinner table are numerous and clustered, but linear in front views of people seated at the table. Based on how the candles are disorderly arranged, it would not be possible to show a couple or few candles spaced apart in front of one person. (00:05:35)
