Trivia: When Taissa leaves work and sees an angry man in his car repeatedly trying to jam his straw into his drink, the logo on the cup is the Busy Bee Cafe logo. The Busy Bee cafe was seen in the original Twilight Zone episode Nick of Time with William Shatner.

Trivia: Black Noir is revealed to have a nut allergy. The actor who plays him, Nathan Mitchell, has a nut allergy, and the writers took inspiration for that for the character twist.
Trivia: While it's not explicitly stated, the Superman from another earth played by Brandon Routh is the one from Superman Returns (and by extension that from the original Superman movies). Aside from the obvious factor of the same actor, he name checks his son Jason, which is what his son with Lois was called in that movie too. His reference to fighting himself relates to Superman 3.
Trivia: A sequel to the original film, titled "The Power of the Dark Crystal," was initially planned. However, the film spent many years in development hell with several different writers and directors being attached at different points. Eventually, French director Louis Letterier became attached to the project around 2012, and it was subsequently retooled into this prequel series for Netflix. "The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance" was finally released in the Summer of 2019 - almost 37 years after the original debuted in Winter, 1982.

Trivia: The Doctor Manhattan - themed sex toy that Laurie receives is called "Excalibur." This is a clue to Doctor Manhattan actually being Cal Abar, i.e. when he returns to his Doctor Manhattan form, he is "ex Cal Abar".
