Continuity mistake: After the intro, the protagonist receives a phone call from her sister. When she turns around to check out of the TV screen, one of her fellow swimmers, with quite characteristic purple hair, is immediately seen sitting down. Back to the view from inside the locker, the same aubergine-haired girl is coming from the lockers to the benches, to go sit. (00:03:45)
Continuity mistake: Fancy opens the decanter and picks it up with her left hand, the lid in her right. She then pours for her husband with the decanter in her right and the lid in her left. (00:11:40)
Continuity mistake: The clock at the Ford pit shows 05:09 during the phone call and 00:53 (can't see it exactly because it is too blurry) in the next shot, when the mechanic holds the sign EZ Miles. (01:56:10)
Continuity mistake: Shaft Jr is in an FBI meeting, and the director asks for a volunteer for a mission. Shaft raises his right hand, next shot his left hand is raised. (00:10:05)
Continuity mistake: After Wesley has intimidated the snot bully, he comes back home and finds the police. Sitting at the table, his mom holds his arm and says "Wesley, Mr. Chambers asked you a question." Mary Elizabeth Winstead has her right arm on the table, close to her body. Continuity mistake: Xiao Meng spent some time wrapping her father's (Professor Tao) left hand, going around his wrist/thumb and under his thumb (diagonally across his palm). When Tao was blown off the bridge and landed in the dirt, the bandage was NOT wrapped around his thumb (just around his wrist). (01:12:33 - 01:16:03)
Continuity mistake: At the start of the film, a man is giving a tour of a building under reconstruction to some potential buyers. One shot, as he's telling them that this sits on a 14-acre lot, there are just 3 people as they walk through a doorway. The film jump cuts to a closer angle, and suddenly a 4th person appears in front of them from thin air. (00:02:34)
Continuity mistake: The lamp above the picture on the wall at the karate school/studio changes in appearance a few times. The first time Casey visited the school, the light bulb was covered by the lamp shade (which was aimed toward the picture); the bulb was not visible but it cast light onto the picture. When the picture was blurred behind Sensei, there was a round circle totally outside of the shade to represent the light bulb (which should have been inside the lamp shade and not visible). Continuity mistake: When Nicolas Cage aka Frank Walsh first shoots a blow dart at Kevin Durand aka Richard Loffler he hits him in the left shoulder. Ten seconds later Kevin he pulls the dart out of his right shoulder. (01:23:15)
Continuity mistake: When the guy leaves the motel, he only grabs his jacket, but when he's outside, he has a helmet in his hand. (01:14:55)
Continuity mistake: After take-off, Mr. Anderson's hair changes a few times while he was talking to Rochelle. His bangs are combed back, but then he has strands hanging down his forehead and the top of his hair is dishevelled. After the camera shifts to Rochelle and back, Mr. Anderson no longer has the strands down his forehead but the right side is messy. When the camera shifts again, Mr. Anderson's hair is neatly combed back. (00:14:54 - 00:15:25)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, the girl gets assaulted from the back: you see at first exactly from the shot from behind that the backpack she is carrying escapes her arms, but in the subsequent shot she is still holding it. (00:02:10)
Continuity mistake: Feng's "sex doll" Maria apparently moves herself further down on the bed. When Bruce is offering Feng stacks of $100 bills, Maria can be seen in the background with her head at the middle of and largely horizontal to the two pillows by the headboard. After Bruce leaves and Feng turns around waving the credit card, Maria is closer to the foot of the bed and her head is more toward the right of the screen. (00:27:44 - 00:28:36)
