Stockholm picture

Trivia: Lars requested (demanded) a "Mustang [Boss] 302" from the police to flee the bank robbery. Lars did not specify what year, but 1969-1972 and, possibly, 1973 are relevant to the August 23, 1973 real-life incident. The Mustang 302 was blue and it might seem easy to identify its shade, but that's not the case. Historically, there have been almost 900 colors for the Mustang's paint and there are a variety of blues. "Grabber Blue" was popular when the Mustang 302 emerged, as was "Acapulco Blue."

The Mule picture

Trivia: It might seem bizarre to make a movie about a 90-year-old drug mule (transporter), but "The Mule" is actually based on the true story of Leo Sharp who became known as the oldest drug mule in the U.S. Whereas Leo Sharp was a World War II veteran, Earl Stone in the movie was a Korean War veteran - and Clint Eastwood ("Earl") really did serve during the Korean War.

Christopher Robin picture

Trivia: Will Friedle of Boy Meets World fame wrote a script similar to this film and sold it to Disney around 1997. They opted not to make the film. By the time this film was made, there were so many story revisions that Friedle could not get a story credit. A representative from the Writer's Guild of America even tried to intervene on his behalf, but Disney's rep claimed his script was completely different.

Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell picture

Trivia: There's a running gag about Burt wearing a new hat, and how it throws everyone off. And it's true - this is the first film in the series where he isn't seen wearing an Atlanta Hawks hat at some point. (Instead he wears a Chicago Cubs hat). According to the documentary on the Blu-ray of the original Tremors, Burt wore an Atlanta Hawks hat in the first movie because the production had been given a large stock of them, and thus a Hawks hat became a staple of Burt's costume throughout the franchise. Michael Gross himself, however, is from Chicago, and in 2016, between the production of the 5th and 6th movies, the Cubs won the World Series (as mentioned in this film). Thus, Gross, a producer on the films, switched to the hat of his favorite team to honor the championship.

Christmas Break-In picture

Trivia: The setting is a little different (9-year-old Izzy is left alone at school), but "Home Alone" fans should recognize some parallel scenes. For example, the parents say, "We did it again" (forget to pick up Izzy after school) and run frantically through the halls; severe winter weather interferes with reaching Izzy; Izzy raids the refrigerator and pigs out on junk food; Izzy considers riding a skateboard down the steps, etc. Of course, there are stupid thieves who break into the school.
