A ceramic mug falls out of the box. There is both visual and audible confirmation. After putting her ring in his shirt pocket, she bends to pick up the empty box and proceeds to walk away without also retrieving the missing contents. (00:14:45)
Continuity mistake: When Black Manta gets the gold coins from the Atlantians the bag falls in front of him but in the next shot the bag is behind his feet.
Continuity mistake: When Ken Wheatley is pointing his tranquilizer gun at Zia after he shot Owen, he puts the gun in his left hand and uses his right hand to wave his men down, but mid wave, the camera cuts to a different angle and he is waving with his left hand while holding the gun in his right hand. Continuity mistake: When Jonas is swimming the tracking gun out to where the Meg is circling, he dunks his head under water to look for the shark. When he surfaces, his earpiece has changed ears. When they cut back to him, it's moved back to the correct ear.
Continuity mistake: At the school, when Scott's suit is malfunctioning and he's big in the janitor's closet, his head is tilted towards his right shoulder. When Hope is working on the suit, we see Scott's head is now tilted towards his left shoulder, even though he's stuck and wouldn't have been able to move around like that. But in the next shot it's back to his right.
Continuity mistake: When she is in the boat she takes off her blindfold entirely, but after some talking the blindfold is around her neck all of a sudden.
Continuity mistake: During the fight at Aunt May's house, May knocks Tombstone out of the house with a bat. The subsequent shots have him back in the house.
Continuity mistake: When Jake is serving the cream he uses his left hand, then right, then left again between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Newt is straddling Thomas with a knife pointed down at his upper left chest, it's very obvious that the knife goes into his chest, through Thomas' shirt. A few minutes later, when Thomas is kneeling over Newt, after Newt stabs himself in the chest, the stab hole in Thomas' shirt is no longer there and he isn't bleeding. (01:50:45)
Continuity mistake: Right in the beginning, Wade hops out a window from his home and starts walking beside it to the edge to climb to the next level down. As he starts walking he passes by another window with a curtain. It then cuts to a closer angle and suddenly the window no longer has a curtain. Also a wire appears on the wall in front of him. And you can tell it is the same house, not a time jump, as the rust at the top of the window frame is exactly the same. (00:01:15)
Continuity mistake: During the conversation Nelson is having with Davis about spending more time with animals than people, they are walking out to Davis' jeep and there is a yellow pole attached to the building on the other side of his jeep. The direction of the sunlight is casting a shadow from it on the wall. Nelson and Davis only talk for about 35 seconds, and then the camera pulls back again as Davis begins to drive off and suddenly the shadow from the pole is much longer. (00:12:10 - 00:12:45)
Continuity mistake: When Charlie is looking through her box of tapes, it shows the columns and there is nothing by Rick Astley. But from a different angle she picks a tape from the bottom of the middle column which we just saw, and it plays a Rick Astley song.
Continuity mistake: When the boy is given the gun and bullets so he can go and find a temple to cure his mother, he has a handful of bullets and one slips down and falls into his sleeve, partly sticking out. It cuts to his face and then back to his hand from a different angle. He has his hand cupped still but you can tell it's empty with no bullets in it. Also his gun keeps changing positions in his other hand in each shot. From pointed down, to pointed straight up, to pointed to the side. (00:17:15)
Continuity mistake: The Stalker, "Shrike," is a persistent hunter, but not terribly quick on his feet. He's sort of a lurching, Frankenstein-like cyborg who is always pursuing Hester Shaw at about walking speed. When Valentine frees Shrike from Sharkmoor prison, miles out to sea, we see Valentine in his airship destroying the prison and we see Shrike's prison cell sink to the sea floor. This cuts to a long distance shot of the prison exploding and sinking in the far background, miles away, as Valentine's airship comes sweeping from the far background into the foreground and out of frame. Almost immediately, Shrike emerges from the surf in the foreground and slowly trudges ashore, implying that he somehow travelled miles across the sea floor just as swiftly as did the airship, in a matter of moments, despite his slow, lumbering gait. Continuity mistake: In the car at the start, when Hamilton says it's like the fourth blackout today, Michael corrects her and says it's the fifth. When he says this, he is leaning forwards some as he looks up out the windshield with his mouth partly open. It cuts to a different angle and suddenly he's leaned back in his seat fully and his mouth closed. (00:01:30)
Continuity mistake: In the first WW2 flashback the protagonist is handing the various items to the Nazi doorman. When he puts down the pen, he is doing it with a left hand in the table close-up, but he picked it with his right, as the left arm is busy holding the coat. (00:02:05)
Continuity mistake: When Stallone kills the bad guys with skull masks in the corridor of the bar, his motions pointing the pistol don't match the positions of the lemming-like goons he hits. For instance he has the gun all the way to his right for the first one he kills, but the guy is shown with a hole opening in his forehead while he's in the middle of the corridor. (00:29:00)
Continuity mistake: The mayor suffers a bleeding head wound while evacuating City Hall. Several scenes later he is shown with no wound at all. Not even his hair is mussed. (00:40:30 - 00:46:30)
Continuity mistake: Superman drops Lois off at the Daily Planet and some civilians approach him wanting to take his picture with their cellphones, but he flies off. In the foreground, a black man in a green jacket and a white woman in a red dress walk towards him with their phones up. In the next shot as Superman shoots up into the sky, their phones vanish from their hands as they are looking up at him. (00:10:55)
