Continuity mistake: When the Krill shuttles land, they park on either side of the entrance to Epsilon station, but when the Orville crew are escaping, the Krill shuttles are gone momentarily (during the firefight), only to return to their proper places a moment later as the Orville shuttle takes off. Factual error: Science Officer Tilly calls the planet Trill a "very big" planet. It has an area of 500 million square kilometers. But that is not so large a planet. The Earth has an area of 510,100,000 square kilometers. So Trill is slightly smaller than Earth. Not really a "very big" planet.
Factual error: In several different episodes characters are escaping on foot to Canada, as evidenced by Ontario license plates. But the show is set in New England, and the only way to get to Ontario through the Eastern United States is by crossing a major body of water: The St. Lawrence River, Lake Ontario, The Niagara River, or Lake Erie. You can't walk there.
Plot hole: In Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Gordon's teleportation ability is tied to sensing and linking with other Inhumans on Earth after their Terrigenesis. Yet in Inhumans, members of the Royal Family such as Triton travel to Earth. If Gordon's powers truly let him detect Inhumans, he should have sensed Triton's presence once he arrived. The show never explains why Earth Inhumans and Moon Inhumans can't detect or acknowledge each other, making this a continuity gap between the two series. The Inhumans reference the Terrigen being set loose in the Earth's oceans at the end of S.H.I.E.L.D season 2, meaning this show takes place at the same time as S.H.I.E.L.D season 3, and there is continuity between them. Yet somehow Gordon is unaware of the other Inhumans from the moon.
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the episode when Nico is burning the photo of her father, she burns it at the top left corner in a close-up shot. Then in the following shot the photo is suddenly burning at the top right corner instead.
Continuity mistake: When Josh is asking his dad if the cops were hot, from the side he's leaning forwards with both elbows on his knees, then from the front he's more upright with one hand on his knee, arm bent out to the side. (00:09:45)
Other mistake: There is a countdown on the movie screen. It is then reflected in Dusty's glasses. But the numbers are not reversed in the glasses. (00:41:00)
