Also, the rocks that fell over the exit don't match the surrounding terrain at all while piled up as they are smooth like river rocks, but when we see them lifted up by Rey in the subsequent scene, they are rougher and look nothing like they did before (as well as being pretty lousy CGI). Revealing mistake: Xiang storms the CIA headquarters at the beginning of the movie and fights off a dozen of agents and executives. Check out the moment when Toni Collette comically pokes her head from under the table and Donnie Yen kicks two agents. The second agent is charging at him with his fist raised, but blatantly stops with no guard raised, waiting to be spin-kicked into oblivion. He was also seen hopping up but when they get blasted away it's the burly Asian guy who is level with Donnie Yen, not him. (00:09:35)
Revealing mistake: At the beginning as Noah's vehicle is reaching the edge of New America, there is a shot of a drone swooping down over a hill to follow him. As the drone comes onto screen, there is dust and debris animated to come up at the camera as it blows around its environment. However this small bit of superimposed bad special effects is the only thing it seems to affect. It swoops down right next to some tall dead grass and other plants, on a dusty hill. But not one item of the real environment is blown or even moves in the slightest from this drone passing by it from inches away. (00:01:30)
