Revealing mistake: When the leading hitman jumps from the balcony you see him land on a rubber mat.
Factual error: When Holland March is swimming behind the bar with mermaids, "Get Down On It" from Kool and The gang is playing. That song did not come out until 1981 and the film is set in 1977. (00:39:50)
Plot hole: After an assault on the scale that's been witnessed, covering a wide area of London by extremely well prepared attackers, there's no way Marine 1 would fly to the airport at low altitude within easy range of missiles, and then when attacked, double back over the areas that have already been attacked where hostiles would still be present. (00:35:00)
Factual error: The villain performs his hit at the beginning of the movie by remotely changing the GPS destination of a cab, so they head to the wrong place and into an ambush. Assuming that neither the cabbie or Pope notice the change on screen, and that his sophisticated software silenced the voice announcement of the course being recalculated, and makes the new place also marked as the old one (it is after all a god-like movie software), the trick is done on on a London black cab, whose drivers are notorious for "The Knowledge", aka being required to learn the entire topografy of the city in one of the most demanding training courses in the world, and not using GPS. It'd be definitely unlikely for the cab driver to be totally unaware, to the point of Pope himself noticing first that they are at the wrong place.
Factual error: When researching Christian Wolf in the IRS database, they state he made $75,000 and ran ZZZ Accounting. They then look up 3 other businesses with over a million dollars in income, said they were all partnerships and stated that Christian Wolf was managing partner. Given that partnerships are flow through entities for income tax purposes, all that income would flow through to individual returns, resulting in much more than $75,000 in income on Christian Wolf's tax return.
Continuity mistake: In the first getaway scene Tanner Howard is driving the blue car with blue latex gloves still on from the robbery. As he drives he pulls off the gloves, but in the very next shot of him driving he has the gloves back on. (00:04:35)
Continuity mistake: In the beginning, when Jack is talking to the two gangsters, he has his sunglasses on. In one shot, where the camera is behind him, when the two start talking Spanish to each other, you can tell Jack doesn't have his sunglasses on.
Visible crew/equipment: When the camera zooms in on Vee's laptop just as she is about to sign up the camera shadow can be seen increasing in size on the back of the laptop. (00:10:45)
Visible crew/equipment: In the beginning where Amanda Waller is talking in a restaurant. While the camera focuses on her towards the end of the scene, they move the camera right, facing towards her left side of her face. Watch the wine glass, you'll see the crew moving along with the camera.
Continuity mistake: After the bar fight scene in the beginning of the movie, they approach Robbie's Kawasaki 800 motorcycle parked in front of the bar on the street. In the shot there are no helmets around, on, or near the motorcycle, but when they ride away they are both wearing helmets. (00:22:05)
Continuity mistake: Gina arrives looking for first aid supplies. She has bruises on her arm. However the next day all the bruises have gone. (00:11:30)
Factual error: The movie puts a caption in the prologue "January 2013." Later the protagonist puts the hammer he received by the mysterious delivery right on top of a newspaper, a copy of "Mid-Day" with a retouched opening article (related to the movie murder of course) but headline news with a Sunil Gavaskar quote that dates it as a December 2015 edition. (00:03:20 - 00:10:10)
Continuity mistake: When Masovich kills Paolo, we see the slide stay locked in the open position. But in the next shot the slide is closed.
Factual error: In the wedding and arrest scene the U.S. Customs Service officials have police attack dogs. The U.S. Customs Service only has drug detection dogs. (01:57:00)
Revealing mistake: Despite Sigourney Weaver supposedly having had her fingers cut off if you watch her when she's in her straitjacket you can see her fingers moving around.
Continuity mistake: Walter tore out the newspaper article ("Body of Woman Found at Greenland Rest Stop") fairly neatly/evenly; it was relatively straight across the top, though a little jagged as could be expected. When Walter looked at the article some time later, the jagged top was worse and there was MORE space between it and the title. The right side also appeared to be more jagged than it was and include a little more of the article that was to its right before being torn off. (00:07:03 - 00:13:37)
Continuity mistake: The main character is chatting with Harper at the shooting range. Harper's earbuds and protective goggles change position between shots throughout the scene. (00:08:50)
Factual error: When Joe and his girlfriend, who is also Albert White's mistress, walk through the hotel room kitchen, that whole kitchen, is not a 30's era kitchen. It even has a convection oven and a blast chiller, pan racks, etc. that are more from this time.
Visible crew/equipment: At the start of the film you can see the boom mic reflection in the black cab on the right hand side. (00:00:05)
