When Vera's phone starts ringing, her left foot is positioned around a foot away from the crack. Continuity mistake: Shortly after the start of the film, the heroine meets with the Mother Superior of the orphanage that she is staying at, and just behind her is the cockeyed supervisor, M. Luteau. During the scene he disappears abruptly to allow for a pan out of the property, far too fast for him to have merely walked away.
Continuity mistake: A group of people are in the copying room taking turns taking pictures of their butts on the copier. When one of them sits on the glass part of the copier, the glass part breaks. When he gets up, it's not broken.

Continuity mistake: When Lady Susan is counseling her daughter Frederica in her bedroom, the shot shows an unlit candle on a dresser behind Lady Susan. The shot changes back and forth between Frederica and Lady Susan. When the shot changes back to Lady Susan, the unlit candle is gone, though there is no one else in the room.
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film when Robert De Niro gets to make out with the college girl, the switches between camera shots show his shirt off and subsequently back on again.
Continuity mistake: At the toll booth, Afonso does a thumb up sign to the operator, not knowing what he really said to his son about their ride. He is doing the gesture with his right hand, left hand, right hand again depending on the shot. (00:07:00)
Continuity mistake: In the 3 wheeled vehicle, Bennie is driving and Conner says "Women do not go for that whole constipated Debbie Downer look." Continuity mistake: The level of snake wine changes in the glass as the camera cuts back and forth during the conversation in the Chinese restaurant between Jeff and Tim.
Continuity mistake: Mother and son run towards the store window as the Ford Galaxy is burning in the parking lot. At the end of the shot from behind, a woman with a lilac top and long brown hair comes into frame and leans against the vegetable stand.
