Question: Sounds a bit weird to me that there would be a direct flight from Christchurch to Kathmandu in the beginning of the movie?

Answer: I did an Internet search, and every flight from Christchurch to Katmandu has at least two stopovers. However, the film takes place about two decades ago and there is no readily available information on flight paths for that time.

Question: At Han's funeral Roman says "I can't do more funerals. First Han..." What about Gisele? She died before Han. Didn't he count her as part of their family or what?

Answer: Roman says "I can't do no more funerals", then Tej says "First Han...now Hobbs is laid up. We're being hunted." Roman was referring to funerals for Vince, Giselle, and Han. Tej was remarking that Shaw attacked Han first, then Hobbs and the rest of the team are probably next.

Question: Did Lane intend for Ilsa to enlist Ethan's help all along? What does he want with Ethan, why does he tolerate him still being alive, why didn't he kill him in the beginning?

Answer: Lane is an expert in manipulating people, and he is using Hunt's skills to get what he wants. As he says at the end, whether Isla killed Hunt (and therefore became further embedded within The Syndicate) or let him go, sooner or later he would have got what he wanted. If Ilsa became loyal to Lane she would have worked to get the red box for Lane. If she helped Hunt, she would work with him to stop Lane getting the red box. Either way, the red box is extracted from the vault.

Question: Bond was 12 when his parents were killed, and spent the next 2 years with his guardian, who taught him to ski, climb and hunt before his death. It is mentioned a few times that it happened 20 years ago, making Bond 34, but he's clearly much older - just wondered if I was missing something here.

Answer: It is mentioned that Oberhauser died 20 years ago. This could have been many years after James stopped living with him.

Question: The end of the movie shows the older brother giving the necklace back to her, but it never shows when she lost it. Am I missing something?

Answer: You haven't missed anything. After the successful CPR, Blake is still wearing the two heart necklaces, but a considerable amount of time passes between then and when Ben gives them back to her, so we can presume that the necklaces had fallen off at some point in between. Since Blake had taken it upon herself to wear her sister's necklace with her own, the two chains could have been clasped together (which I've done myself), as if one.
