Factual error: During the Hungnam evacuation scene in December 1950, a U.S. Army Captain is using a radio handset. The model he uses is the H-250, which was introduced in 1987, over 30 years after the Korean War.

Factual error: As the marchers start through the streets before they gather at the Edmund Pettis Bridge, they pass by a shop with a Pepsi sign. The Pepsi logo, however, is from the 1980s-1990s.

Factual error: Declan takes a gun from his glove compartment and nothing else. I counted that he fired 22 shots before being put down. There is no way that gun had a 22+ round magazine.

Factual error: Towards the end of the movie, they want to travel from Bolzano/South Tyrol to Venice. The driver says "we must hurry before they close the borders". South Tyrol and Venice are both parts of the same country, Italy, with no borders between them.

Factual error: In the scene in the basement during the storm Dale is running the projector on house electricity. The lights go out and he switches to a battery which must be 12 volt. He runs the projector on that current, which is impossible.

Factual error: The three panzers that ambushed the Hellcats are supposed to be Mk. III's with the 50mm gun, but they only had 5 bogie wheels, instead of 6, and no driver or radio operator's hatches.

Factual error: Roland enters the train to go to the war, in 1914, with "Spanish Flu", but that was the (wrong) name given to the 1918 flu pandemic, which lasted from spring 1918 through spring or early summer 1919.

Factual error: In a classroom scene, Mia takes her phone out and checks Instagram. It can be seen that she is on the network "Koodo" - a Canadian mobile operator. The movie takes place in Portland, but is filmed in Vancouver. (01:00:10)

Factual error: The streak ended in '04, but at the beginning of the movie the seniors talking about their last game have letter jackets with the year '05 on the sleeve.

Factual error: When the Germans come to the town a tank rolls through the picture. The first shot shows the tracks, then the whole tank is shown and one can see the tracks again. The turret suggests a Panzer III (which would be accurate for the time). It appears however that the tank is a modified Russian T34 or T55 or something as the road wheels are too big for a Panzer III. (00:13:00)
