Continuity mistake: Richard chats up the beautiful stranger at the bar counter; his phone moves closer to her between shots before he scoots closer. On a related note, since they are always pretty close, also Pierce Brosnan's hands throughout the whole scene jump from actually touching the glass stem, to just being on the counter. (00:07:40)
Continuity mistake: When the woman stands to sing "Bread and Roses", there is a man in a green shirt with a mustache to her left. The camera pans to other miners. When the camera pans back to the original singer, 20 seconds later, the green shirted, mustachioed man is no longer there.
Continuity mistake: On the beach, JJ is talking over Kathy when she asks "what pact?" However when he plays back the recording it is just Kathy speaking.
Continuity mistake: When the crocodile catches the man he bites his right foot off. 5 seconds later as he falls into the water his foot is back. (01:21:05)
Continuity mistake: During the "Perfect Puppy" silly song, Bob places a newspaper he had been reading on the couch beside him when Larry starts singing. Continuity mistake: The glass that was dropped and shattered on the floor had a different pattern of fragments when Mitch [Robin Williams] knelt to clean it up. Most obvious was that the majority of shattered pieces settled toward Mitch's feet but were on the opposite side of the largest piece of glass during clean-up. There's also a "stupidity" in the way Mitch wiped up the glass - pressing down on the thin towel (apparently to entrap fragments), which is most likely to result in getting pierced. (00:01:40)

Continuity mistake: When Michael Keaton goes to his dressing room following the light accident, the note on the flowers changes. It first reads: "They didn't have the whatever you wanted." After he removes his headpiece, the note reads: "THEy didn't have whatever you wanted - SAM."

Continuity mistake: Jay is mopping the floor after promising on the phone to his dad that he'll bring his non-existent fiancee to the wedding. He tries to talk one of the nurses into joining him. Continuity mistake: In a scene at a night club, Colin Firth's friend has a glass of red wine in his hand and then he has a glass of white wine.
Continuity mistake: When Hugh Grant writes "Protagonist" on the board, the writing changes depending on the shot, most noticeably the G - sometimes it looks a bit like a backwards question mark, other times it's so slanted it looks more like an S.
Continuity mistake: During the climax, when the old-fashioned Atari-controller is lowered down from the UFO, watch closely. In the first two shots, it's swinging back and forth rather quickly and dramatically, however, immediately from the third shot on, it's suddenly barely swinging. It's too instantaneous between edits to be the result of it naturally losing momentum.
Continuity mistake: Stretch takes the licence plate off the limo just before it's stolen. When he's clinging onto the bumper as it's being towed, the plate is back on.
Continuity mistake: As the two assistant workers walk away from the prison building at the end of the first day, Charlotte Gainsbourg's grip on her folders switches between shots.
