Cameron got his start on television, and went on to be well-known for his work in sci-fi, action and fantasy films, such as 1999's "The Mummy," "Starship Troopers," "Willow" and "Highlander." He sadly passed away a few years after the film's release.
Trivia: Netflix uses the International Theatrical Version of the film (which they tend to do a lot), that cuts a few jokes or changes some scenes from the US Theatrical Version. For example, instead of Tony Montana from "Scarface" in Ron's eyes, it's Frank Dux (Jean-Claude Van Damme) from "Bloodsport", which is also a mistake since the film came out in 1988.
Trivia: The opening scene was supposed to be a reference to "Saturday Night Fever", but the production could not afford the proper soundtrack, and thus, Bill "strutting" down the street for a prolonged period now lacks any frame of reference.
