Audio problem: In the scene where the polite leader is addressing the Sandins for the first time he takes his mask off and starts talking to the camera but he is muted until James unmutes him. If you watch the polite leader while he is muted he mouths the words "Mr. And Mrs. Sandin" before he is unmuted. However when he is unmuted we hear him finish that statement by saying "Mrs. Sandin" again. (00:33:25)

Audio problem: In the scene in the banquet hall, where the bad-guy is eating a carrot, he throws it on the floor. Subsequently, while chewing on the little bits he has left in his mouth, there comes a sound which is not a chewing-small-pieces-of-carrot sound, but a biting-a-piece-off-a-carrot sound. That sound was way too loud to have been produced by some little piece he had left in his mouth. (00:47:45)
Audio problem: The scene after Victoria drops the plant from Tech 49 and lets it fall onto the Earth, shows the two of them having supper. The first line said in this scene is Victoria saying "Every day you have to go down there... And see what was lost." Victoria's lips don't move an inch when she says "and see what was lost." (00:24:10)
Audio problem: While Gerry is talking to the C.I.A. Agent, a side view of the agent's face is seen as he says "That's the man in Jerusalem you want to see." The movements of his mouth and cheek does not appear to match up to what he is saying at all. (00:43:55)
Audio problem: In several scenes, Sandra Bullock used radio equipment in efforts to call for assistance. There is a sound made by vintage, mechanically tuned radios called "heterodyning" that results in a squealing, variable frequency sound in the speaker. While heterodyning added a degree of drama to the scenes in "Gravity", contemporary radios operate on a different, highly stable technique for tuning, and do not produce heterodyne sounds. (00:13:15 - 00:41:00)
Audio problem: In the scene after the jewelry heist when they go back to the house, Melander is questioning Leslie as to her connection to Parker. In one shot, you can hear the sound of him grabbing her and her making a high pitched whimper, yet he is not touching her and her lips are not moving. Also, Melander says "Check the house, every inch" and "C'mon, don't you want to hit me now" at the same time.
Audio problem: The helicopter appears in front of the window (like, a few feet away) of the command deck of a ship in the middle of the ocean, with the ship being in full alert and with guards all around the premises but who all somehow missed its deafening arrival. (01:35:50)
Audio problem: When Sarah is firing her pistol in the desert we see the slide lock back. However the hammer still manages to hit the firing pin, making a click noise - that would be impossible. (00:41:20)
Audio problem: When Armedeo and Estefania are ready to leave in the car, George stands in the driveway with a gun aimed at Estefania. Armedao gets out of the car, but the car's ignition goes off without Armedeo doing it.
Audio problem: As Ian is leading Wanda to his room, he asks her what it is like to have both her and Melanie in her head. She responds saying "It's crowded." The camera angle changes to show their faces before she finishes the word "crowded", and her lips are not moving. (01:06:20)
Audio problem: When Han and Frank are fighting in the hangar, Frank grabs a handgun and you can hear him chamber it. After he tosses the handgun to Han, he chambers it also, but no round can be heard hitting the ground. Nor could you hear Frank decock it.
Audio problem: When Mindy uncovers her motorcycle and starts it for the first time in the film, the engine sound suggests that the motorcycle (which appears to be a Ducati 1199 Panigale) has a 4-cylinder engine (identifiable by the distinct smooth car-like sound with higher pitch). The Ducati Panigale has a 2-cylinder engine, which should be sounding a lot rougher. But in the end scene where Mindy drops Dave at his house with her motorbike, it makes a completely different sound, which is how the 2-cylinder bike sounds in reality. (00:14:10 - 01:34:25)
