Continuity mistake: As in most movies I've seen where size is a main factor, the animators did not pay much attention to scale. In the scene where the main character leads the leaf people to her father's house, she is jumping and lands on the thinnest pencils I've ever seen. They have the width of the pencil smaller than her foot. However later on, it is shown that a push pin is almost the size of her body.
Continuity mistake: "Mama" takes and breaks Victoria's glasses when she tells her to stop attacking Annabelle. Mama then takes the two girls, and we next see them at the cliff edge...Victoria now has her glasses back on.
Suggested correction: When Victoria is back on the cliff with "Mama" she is not wearing her glasses at all.
Continuity mistake: When Josh and Nat hug in the bar while playing pool, Nat's hands keep changing position on Josh.
Continuity mistake: When The Rock is putting early in the movie he is on the phone, when the shot comes back to the room the putting green is missing. (00:01:50)
Continuity mistake: A man falls back into mud, in the pig pen. But his back is clean.
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the movie Ryan Phillippe is in a hospital bed with oxygen connected to his nose. When Anna Paquin reaches over to touch his cheek it is gone.
Continuity mistake: Just after Nick and Billy find professor Xavier and get back with the others, the sun changes between shots.
Continuity mistake: When the squad arrives at the hotel to arrest Mickey, they are on the street with two cars behind them, but in the upper view those cars disappear. (01:33:25)
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film when Hannah goes to Elliot's house to make up with him, she parks her Volvo SUV directly in front of the door. In fact, the car is visible behind her when she enters the home. Then when she leaves after they argue, she has to walk pretty far up the street to her car, giving him time to catch her.
Continuity mistake: After stabbing the bad guy at the beginning, Callahan for some reason pulls back and somehow dives past a door managing to drag in a grown woman who was all crouched down by the entrance. Wonky physics of it aside, the bad guy shoot at him, but shoots just a hole in the door frame. The hole appears to be CGI, and in fact when Callahan shoots back from the bedroom, the hole is gone. Continuity mistake: A vehicle (or the camera) is driven toward the setting sun and the sun falls below a higher elevation, but the vehicle continues driving in the sun, even when another higher elevation is approached. (00:01:40 - 00:02:15)
Continuity mistake: As El Camaleon pulls the Cuba Gooding Jr. face off, there's an unshaven neck with a tattoo visible under it. After the cut, Lady Gaga's face (also presumably unshaven admittedly, but not visibly so) comes to light under a mask of visibly lighter skin tone. (00:45:05)
Continuity mistake: When the police officer picks up Woody, he is wearing boots. In the police station, he is not wearing boots. (00:01:05 - 00:02:25)
Continuity mistake: Notice how Julie pumps her shotgun twice within a few seconds in the lab without once firing.
Continuity mistake: When Swifty is calming the horse, and the scrap dealer exclaims, "He's fast!", Swifty has his face pressed against the horse's nose; in the cut to the long shot, Swifty is suddenly facing the horse, looking up at it. (00:25:00)
Continuity mistake: When Oscar is on the phone to learn about the location of the job interview in the warehouse district, the paper that was on top of the payphone jumps suddenly in the hand that holds the receiver to his ear, with the phone call already being over. (00:22:25)
Continuity mistake: During dinner after the funeral Streep has a cigarette in her hand. The next shot her hands are together without a cigarette.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Terrence Howard is questioning Colin Farrell his right hand first appears with a ring and watch, later in the scene it appears on his left. (01:08:25)
Continuity mistake: The Sheriff and Leslie have an exchange in a coffee shop. As she walks past him, he says "How's the ex? You hear from him?" While saying this, his head turns to his right as he watches her go by and he is level. The shot changes to a closer one at a side angle and suddenly he is looking down at his plate. (00:42:55)
Continuity mistake: The needle Cheryl's holding goes back and forth from her right to her left hand between shots.
