Other mistake: In the scene immediately after the locomotives that were trying to slow 777 get derailed and blow up, the next scene immediately shows Colson in the cab of his train exclaiming about the explosion which he sees just over the tree tops. Impossible. Colson's train is still miles away on the head on collision course with 777, and Colson could not possibly see this explosion, let alone as if it was just around the bend.
Other mistake: Pretty much everyone in the film, especially Alice, seems to be able to fire their weapons without reloading at all.
Other mistake: Towards the end when we see one of the $100 bill plates up close, the plate is not of any money ever put into production in the US. While I know most movies do not try and use actual money, there are things that don't match how real money is made: serial numbers are not on the plates, circle around Ben's head doesn't go to the border, "The United States of America" is missing above the "100" on the left, just to name a few.
Other mistake: When Salt was trying to escape in the CIA building, the tactical team was preparing to enter Salt's final hold up, the holographic sight on one of the tactical team member's M4 is mounted the wrong way.
Other mistake: In the scene where Jensen is attempting to decrypt the password on the hard drive with the algorithm, he uses the command "traceroute d-hea" which is commonly used to test network connectivity, not decrypt passwords.Then follows it with the command "dir" to reveal HTML code instead of directory structures.
Other mistake: When June is standing on the escalator in the airport the people on the escalator with her swap from shot to shot as they change camera angles from a view looking down at her to one taken from the side. In one scene the escalator is nearly full with people, but in the next there are only two men standing behind her.
Other mistake: Paul Walker repeatedly looks through the scope as he is perched in sniper position with the lens cap still on.
Other mistake: When Tamina pretends to have fainted and Dastan runs over to her rescue, Dastan wearing some kind of Adidas/Nike/other modern sport shoes, only the shoe sole is visible but you can see it as he runs and kneels just before he gets whacked on the head. (00:36:45)
Other mistake: Spencer tells Jen to meet him at sunset but when they meet, it is not sunset.
Other mistake: Justin Hammer picks up the M134 like it's a feather. In reality, it's a hundred pound gun, even a big bloke would have to work hard to pick something like that up.
Other mistake: Finbar is shown torturing a victim while the victim has his head in a halo used for immobilizing a person's head. The screws to hold the victim's head tight can be seen not to be touching his head, yet the victim is still bleeding from the screws.
Other mistake: In the scene where Judy and Becca are strapped to beds in the high school and the principal is coming with a pitch fork, at first there is a close up of the fork (when the principal is dragging it) and its dry with no blood, the principal walks over to his first victim and right before he raises the fork it is shown covered in blood so much that some has ran on to the floor.
Other mistake: During the scene where Phil and Claire break into the real estate office to look up the name of her past client, Claire says his name is Holbrooke Grant. She types that into the computer to search for it, but it's shown as Holbrooke, Grant. With the comma, that would make Grant his first name.
Other mistake: When Sly Stallone and Jason Statham decide to turn the plane around and attack the dock, they approach it from behind flying above land. But when Statham is firing the guns, one of the shots from his perspective shows it approaching from the water.
Other mistake: Driver fires 7 rounds from a 6 shot revolver before reloading in the shootout with Killer in the apartment hallway.
Other mistake: During Hit Girl's dramatic rescue sequence, she shoots the last two guys in the head. The man she shoots last (in the red and yellow balaclava), she aims at his torso yet shoots him cleanly through the head. It's made all the more obvious by the fact that this scene is in slow motion at this point.
Other mistake: When Matt Damon is in the dark alley pursuing the intermediary who will lead him to the General, it appears, at the first sight of his right leg thigh holster, that the holster is empty. However, several scenes later, when the camera is behind him, you can see the reflection of light off of the magazine, in the magazine well of the pistol.
Other mistake: Although we could see that the soft porn by April, June and Machete was filmed with a static camera on a tripod with no one operating it, when Michael looks at the film it involved zooming, paning and tilting. On top of that, music is added to the film.
Other mistake: In the end credits, the cast is meant to be in order of appearance. When it gets to Victoria's credit, it states that Alexander Dunning appears next in the movie. Another 4 people after this reads Cooper's family appears. This is wrong. Victoria appears. A few minutes after this, Cooper is shown at his house and watches his kids sleeping. In the scene after Alexander Dunning appears for the first time in the movie. For the credits to be in order of appearance correctly, it would have to be Victoria - Cooper's Daughter - Cooper's Son - Alexander Dunning. (01:41:15)
Other mistake: Blake jumped through the window, shattering the glass and propelling many fragments through the air and towards/onto Edgar and Zoe, but no-one got cut. (00:34:10)
