Continuity mistake: When Oskar shows his Rubik's Cube to Eli and explains how it works, one side is all white except one square, which differs from being red vs. blue between shots.
Plot hole: One of the flying dragons impacts the right outer engine of the B-29, and the fire spreads to the right inner engine. The crew lands the plane on the island, and the girls rebuild both engines, despite the fact there are no parts available on the island.
Factual error: In the film, Sgt. Jack Lupino is depicted as a United States Marine Corp Sargent. However, when Max is watching an interview with Lupino it shows him wearing either a Gunnery Sargent or Master Sargent chevrons. Not only that, but the chevrons happen to be upside down. No US Marine would ever make a mistake like that.
Continuity mistake: When Nick and Bobby are playing craps in Rusty Nail's barn, Nick rolls "chest," resulting in Rusty branding Bobby with his R key chain. Rusty puts the red hot key chain in Bobby's shirt pocket and holds it against his chest. When Rusty lets go, you can see a hole has been burned into Bobby's shirt. The very next shot, Bobby is rolling the dice and his shirt is intact. Later on at the very end of the film, Bobby's shirt has the hole in the pocket again. (01:13:50 - 01:15:00)
Factual error: When the soldiers return to HQs, the American flag, hung vertically over the entrance, has the blue field with stars on the right. The flag, when hung vertically, is supposed to have the blue field on the left..
Factual error: All the soldiers that have rolled up sleeves have them rolled up Marine style (with the inside of the sleeve showing) despite being US Army.
Character mistake: On Taylor's phone it says she dies at 8:32PM, but Beth says 7:32PM, when reading the message. (00:27:05)
Revealing mistake: When Ami's chest is being drilled by the "drill-bra" at the end of the movie, you can see blood flowing from her chest, obviously because of the damage the drills are causing her. Yet, later, you can see absolutely no cuts or marks on her breasts or upper chest, where the drills were penetrating her skin. The skin is simply soaked with blood.
Continuity mistake: When Toorop gets Aurora to New York, the back windows of the cab they are riding in are clear, normal windows. But when they get to the apartment and get out of the cab, the back windows are suddenly tinted.
Factual error: Approximately three quarters of the way in to the film, there is a close up of a German soldier handing an officer a file of documents. The helmet that the soldier is wearing is a post war 1960s version. This can be determined by the lack of an air vent and rivet on the side of the helmet.
Continuity mistake: When Captain Jack Wander is handcuffed to the stairs, in the first shot you can see that the handcuffs aren't all the way clasped. When you see him from a different angle, they are clasped all the way.
Factual error: Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Khanna are able to perform drifts in their final race; however Saif's car does not even have breaks. Akshay would not want to break because he believes the car has a bomb in it, so for them so be able to perform these drifts is not possible.
Visible crew/equipment: During the chase through the jungle, the hand-held camera operator and stills photographer are visible on the left side of the frame. (01:06:30)
Other mistake: Bonnie the Rottweiler is referred to several times by her owner Brett as a female, yet it's a male dog.
Other mistake: It is crucial to the story that Peter is terrified of moths - but when he is led through the woods at knife point by Tracey, a large moth flies around both their heads for several seconds (lured by lights of the film crew) and he ignores it, being as it's an unplanned visitor. (00:42:30)
Factual error: When Leonardo DiCaprio is arriving on the tarmac at what is supposed to be Abu Dhabi, the main (and very distinctive) Dulles airport terminal is visible in the background.
Revealing mistake: While Punisher is killing Pittsy, you can tell he is holding a dummy, not the real girl.
Factual error: At the end of the film, Wyatt and McQuarry each take a briefcase containing $5 million dollars. $1 million dollars in $100 dollar bills (highest denomination in circulation) weighs approximately 22lbs = 110lbs for $5 million. $5 million in $100 dollar bills is also approximately 3445 cu. in. in volume. This would not likely fit in the cases they are carrying, and would not be as easy to carry as they are.
Continuity mistake: At one point, when Leon is fighting with Mahogany on the train, there is a shot of blood dripping off a knife onto Leon's face. This blood later vanishes. (01:20:02 - 01:21:19)
Continuity mistake: When Samir parks by 128 Randolph, he leaves the vehicle with the drivers side window down, but when the other agents pull up, the window is rolled up.
