Character mistake: While in the sewing workshop, the teacher approaches and asks, 'What's the matter, Charlie?' but at this point he is still known as Peterson. It's not until later on in the film that he decides upon the name of Charles Bronson. (00:11:35)
Character mistake: There is a misspelling on the cover of the issue of Forbes magazine shown in the presentation about Stark's life. It reads "Tony Stark takes reigns at 21". The correct spelling of the word is "reins". Stark may "reign" at Stark Industries but he would take over the "reins" of the company.

Character mistake: Throughout the movie the character Andrea's name is consistently mispronounced. When her husband Chris shows up at her office to apologize for looking at her bank statements and offer to take her to lunch, he approaches the receptionist saying he's looking for his wife whine he calls Andrea (pronounced like Ann-drea) but then in the same scene he calls her Andrea (pronounced Ahn-dre-uh) I understand maybe another character mispronouncing her name but not her own husband.
Character mistake: When Will finds April's lost copy of Jane Eyre, the book shop clerk reads the inscription written by April's dad and says it's a quote from the book. It's actually a quote from Bronte's poem Evening Solace.
Character mistake: During the Nativity play, Pastor Phil says, "Are we ready to see the result of the Immaculate Conception?" The term 'Immaculate Conception' refers to the conception of the Virgin Mary (conceived without Original Sin), not to the conception of Jesus. Furthermore, the Immaculate Conception is a dogma of the Catholic Church, and not something which a Protestant pastor like Phil would believe in.
Suggested correction: The immaculate conception refers to Mary conceiving Jesus. It was Immaculate because she was a virgin carrying God's child. The Virgin birth (Jesus birth) is in the New Testament and every Christian (Protestant and Catholic) believe the story of the Virgin Mary and birth of Jesus.
The Immaculate Conception is indeed the belief that Mary was born without Original Sin (and thus was immaculate, meaning spotless or clean), although some religions teach Mary was born in sin and made immaculate through the Holy Spirit. The birth of Jesus is known as the Virgin Birth (one could even use the phrase "virgin conception.") Immaculate Conception has nothing to do with being born of a virgin.
Character mistake: When Captain Jones first introduces himself to Christine Collins he says he is from the Lincoln Park Juvenile Division instead of Lincoln Heights.

Character mistake: McQuarry enters the subway at the 103rd Street station on the 1. He is transferring to the 2/3 at Chambers Street when Bose approaches him. However, it makes no sense to transfer here. As someone who knows New York, McQuarry would transfer to the 2/3 at 96th Street to benefit from the express ride to Chambers. (01:03:05)
Character mistake: When Allison Taylor arrives at the White House, a Secret Service agent greets her as "Madam President". Since she hasn't been sworn in yet, he should know to address her as "Madam President-elect".
Character mistake: Throughout the movie, all of the drill sergeants and First Sergeant Morley are wearing their drill sergeant badges too low. The badge is supposed to be centered on the right jacket pocket.
Character mistake: At the rehearsal dinner, when Steve walks up to Miranda she calls Steve "Dave." Dave is his real name.
Character mistake: When Alex Stillman is facing Karen 'Razor' Jones for the second time in the film he calls her All-In with Pocket Queen's in his hand whilst she has AJ of Spades whilst the cards on the table are: Ten of Spades, Jack of Hearts, 2 of Spades and the King of Diamonds. However the commentator then states that either a spade, Jack or Ace will cripple Alex but that is not the case as an Ace would give him a Straight and she would only have 2 pair Jacks and Aces.
Character mistake: After Father Flynn has completed his first sermon, Donald Miller comes into the dressing room and says "That was some sermon, Father." Flynn then says "Hi Jim". Jim is the name of the other altar boy. He should have said Donald.

Character mistake: When Leon goes to see Susan Hoff with his photography portfolio she tells him he needs improvement. After she leaves, Leon tells Jurgis that he thinks she hated his work and Jurgis tells Leon "when she hates somebody's work she gives them about a minute, you got three." In reality, she actually did give him one minute almost to the second. (00:06:58)
