Revealing mistake: In the day following the Rider's first ride, Cage shows up at the street that has been burned down the center. A person very close to the beginning of that scene walks on the broken up rocks and it moves as if it were a pad or a sponge. It wasn't a rock moving because the street moves with the rock. It happens a couple of times during that scene.
Revealing mistake: As Carlos is giving his final goodbyes to Claire you can see in the background automobiles driving down the freeway. Shouldn't these roads be empty rather than having what seems to be a thriving highway? (01:10:00)
Suggested correction: Not a single car in the background.
Revealing mistake: Underdog's first costume is supposed to be a felted down (the more accurate term would be fulled) wool sweater. When wool is felted the stitches lose clear definition and usually achieve a "felted" look. It is clear that the sweater in the movie has just been switched for another smaller sweater as the stitches are still sharply defined after it has been pulled from the dryer. This is especially clear around the U. No attempt to make the smaller sweater look "felted" was made. This refers to the original costume with the solid white U, not the second costume with the yellow outlined U.
Revealing mistake: When Sandman is in the truck of sand and the cop climbs up to catch him, you can see the edge of a platform uncovered. The platform is clearly there so the cop could walk without sinking - he stops right where the platform ends.
Revealing mistake: After the military attack Sao Feng's residence, when Elizabeth is seen fighting amid the melee the black spandex-like shorts are visible under her robe as she kicks up.
Revealing mistake: When Blackout is destroying the base in Qatar, a few Humvees get flipped over, and none of them have engines in them. (00:07:00)
Revealing mistake: When McClane goes into the icy room in the power station, look at the pipe to the side of the acrobat: it's in shot a few seconds and you can see that the writing on the pipe is reversed, revealing that in the editing room, the shot was flipped.
Revealing mistake: When the Sergeant has the shotguns in the backpack on his back, and you see a close up of his face, you can see that the shotguns do not have triggers. On plastic prop rifles, the trigger is usually molded into the trigger guard in the pulled back position, and you can see this on these prop shotguns.
Revealing mistake: In the scenes where Riley is using his computer to look up information on the "SearchInfo" site, the screenshot used is of Wikipedia. (You can even see the "About Wikipedia" link on the left).
Revealing mistake: When Conrad throws the Russian over the cliff, as the Russian explodes, you can see that poor CGI actually makes him transparent.
Revealing mistake: When the C130 is taxing on the runway (just ahead of the police search of the plane) you can see a C-17 in the background. The C-17 only made its maiden flight in 1991.
Revealing mistake: At the end, there is a group of people with their backs to the camera, facing & waving to the Fantastic 4. As the F4 fly towards the camera and out of the shot, the crowd turns to continue waving to them. One small boy in white remains facing the wrong way, still waving, until another child grabs the back of his clothes & turns him to face the right way.
Suggested correction: Not necessarily a mistake. Little kids can have a hard time keeping track of/focusing on things. I know little kids that have a hard time looking in the direction of the camera when their picture is being taken.
There's a difference between not looking at a camera when you don't care about having your picture taken and being able to follow superheroes that pass you, especially if you're waving at them. The reason it's a revealing mistake is because everyone involved had to pretend superheroes were passing them and the kid didn't know when to turn.
Revealing mistake: By the end of the movie, when Jamie Foxx is holding the dying Arabian cop, you can see that Jamie's neck injury looks extremely false.
Revealing mistake: There are 4 different vehicles in the movie that have the same license plate number (2PCE275). The first is on a white car owned by the gang member that shoots Max. Then you see the same plate number on the pickup truck of the skinheads that are harrassing Gary. Then you see the same plate on Steven Seagal's car as he drives away from saving Gary from the skinheads (incidentally, the front plate on his car is different than the back plate). The last time you see the same plate is on a Lexus driven by the guy in the all white suit who is going to buy the cocaine.
Revealing mistake: When the zombies are eating the intern in the hospital, you can see one of his ribs move as if it were made out of rubber. (00:51:20)
Revealing mistake: When Jake is being tied up, he's holding his hands up to make it easier for the cannibal to tie up. Also when they drag him out of view, he's holding his head up so it doesn't drag the ground, although he's supposed to be unconscious during all this.
Revealing mistake: When the police dog wants to attack Swagger and bites the cop instead, it's obvious the cop wears thick protection under his coat sleeve. (01:03:20)
Revealing mistake: As Aurelius and Wulfila fight, one shot after Aurelius lifts a long-handled battle axe, we can see two shots with a jet contrail in the sky, which were impossible in the 5th century AD.
Revealing mistake: When Cris drives his car over the railroad crossing, the CGI locomotive which passes subsequently lacks a fuel tank which is usually between the two sets of wheels.
Revealing mistake: When Billy is looking at Nick's driver's license, for sex it says F for female.
