Visible crew/equipment: When Doug spots his baby daughter through the window in the house, the child starts to roll off the bed and the hand of a crouching crew member comes into shot to stop the child from rolling off the bed completely.
Factual error: In the scene in Kono, one of the child soldiers is seen with a Game Boy Advance SP, which was released in 2003, but the movie takes place in the 90's.
Continuity mistake: Nick goes out of his office and to Bristol's desk. Bristol starts standing up. Camera angle changes to Nick then back to Bristol. He starts standing up again. (00:40:40)
Continuity mistake: When Ryan Reynolds is between the two hospital beds, preparing to pull the plugs, there are three wires he grabs to our left (two white and one black). He yanks all of them out (along with another white one to our right) and no plugs remain in the red outlet cover on the wall. But in close ups, as the other agents are banging on the door, we see the lone black wire is still plugged in. (01:40:15)
Continuity mistake: In the morgue scene, the coroner states that Elizabeth Short had a wound inflicted on her right hand, but then in the pornography scene, she grips the bed post with her left hand.
Continuity mistake: Hugh Jackman puts a tan vest on twice in the scene when we first meet his wife.
Revealing mistake: When the truck leaps off the ferry, the underside is seen, exposing the still-flaming 'roll cannon' opening in the rear floorboard. This cannon is what caused the rear of the truck to rise, sending the truck flipping through the air. (01:52:30)
Continuity mistake: After Marcus kills Kraven, we cut back to Selene and Michael. As he talks about her saving his life and that how everything has changed, part of Selene's fringe switches from hanging in front of her face to tucked to the side between shots. In the closeup shots it hangs in front of her face and in the wide shots it is tucked to the side.
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where the Humvee pulls up at the checkpoint - two chocks are visible by the front tyres. They're not part of the roadblock - a couple of bits of plywood wouldn't stop even a determined Mini. Most likely, they're simply chocks to make sure the Humvee hits its mark. (00:12:35)
Continuity mistake: When Chris pulls up at the bridge barricade, he gets out and his collar is down. In the very next shot his Burberry collar is sticking right up.
Other mistake: When Joey Lawrence gets his hand cut off by the human, he wakes up to find his arm where his hand used to be wrapped in some kind of black cloth. It's obviously his hand that is wrapped up because the wrap sticks out too far to be only wrapping his wrist. Plus it is also bulky which gives away the hand underneath.
Revealing mistake: When the children run along with the car waving, you can see a modern digi-watch on the wrists of one of the children, which was not produced during the 1970s.
Suggested correction: Without using slow motion of freeze-framing, how can you tell it's a digital watch? It certainly isn't clear on the DVD version.
Continuity mistake: When Jake is told to take his soccer equipment and put it in his room, he takes it and sits on his bed, and shoves all the gear underneath his bed. In the next shot when Trish enters the room, half of the equipment is back out on the floor again.
Continuity mistake: When Sheba is standing outside of the car talking to Barbara in the scene where she has to choose between her son's play and consoling Barbara, the passenger door is shown opened, then closed, then opened etc.
Continuity mistake: Right after Phin gets run over by the carriage, when the cops are talking to Hutch and Zwink, the laptop in the van moves between shots.
Continuity mistake: In the scene on the roof after the power transfer, Hannah falls through the sky light and Matt yells down to her. You can tell the close-ups on Matt were re-shot because Matt's hair is longer and styled differently in between shots.
Revealing mistake: Just as the bus begins to roll down the mountainside, cables are visible which were holding the bus in place. Most easily seen during the first complete rollover. (00:05:45)
Continuity mistake: When Cleveland introduces Mr. Farber to Young Soon Choi, Heep says her apartment is 8A. But, later when Cleveland goes to Choi, the door number reads 16B.
Continuity mistake: When Grubitz talks to Wiesler in the cafe, the amount of beer in their glasses keeps changing.
Revealing mistake: The money that the two gang members are counting in the opening view of the hotel room scene is obviously fake. Notice how white the bills are, when they should be greener and have more of the random anti-counterfeit features. (00:02:00)
