Trivia: At the end of the film, when the hospital bed crashes through the hospital window, Inspector Clouseau says "That breeze feels good". Steve Martin had said this line in the 1983 film "The Man with Two Brains", where his character Dr Michael Hfuhruhurr tells Dolores Benedict the same words after he breaks a window.
Trivia: During Borden's performance which ends with Angier shooting him, on at least two occasions the bill for the show can be seen off to one side. About halfway down is the name "Harry Dresden", the name of the wizard protagonist from the Dresden Files book series by Jim Butcher.
Trivia: The faun is not actually Pan. The film's correct title translated into English is 'The Labyrinth of the Faun'. However, the director, Guillermo del Toro, thought that the English-speaking audiences would get confused between a 'faun' (mythological creature) and a 'fawn' (baby deer). Therefore, for all English-speaking countries, the title is 'Pan's Labyrinth'.
Trivia: When Theo goes to visit his cousin at his apartment at Battersea Power Station, an inflatable pig can be seen flying between the smokestacks, a recreation of and reference to the cover of the Pink Floyd album "Animals," whose vision of society the film mirrors.
Trivia: Shyamalan based the film on a story he told his children. This aspect of the production was questioned frequently, with one critic saying that if Shyamalan based his films on kid stories, he should go make films for Nickelodeon. Ironically enough, 4 years later he released "The Last Airbender" for Nickelodeon, which was considered to be one of the worst films ever released.
Trivia: Although Adrian Brody was officially the star of "Hollywoodland," his character (private detective Louis Simo) was a completely fictional role in the movie. Virtually all of the other characters in the film are based on real people, but there never was a Louis Simo, and he's not based on any actual person (s). George Reeves' mother did hire an attorney and a detective agency in real life; however, "Hollywoodland" director Allen Coulter said that the character of Louis Simo wasn't even partially based on anyone in real life.

Trivia: Ted Dekker, author of the novel this movie was based on, liked to hide three scratches (like the book's cover) on set for crew and cast to find. Sometimes he hid the scratches on the on-screen set for the camera to catch and for the audience to find. How many can you find? I can find seven.
