Continuity mistake: When the two guys come over to the queue, they shake a fundraising box in front of the guy in the green sweater in the queue. Between shots the handle at the top of the box keeps on changing position.
Continuity mistake: At the garden party, when Scarlett Johansson is sitting on the bench and talking, her hair is alternately tucked in and then on the outside of the sideframe of her glasses.
Continuity mistake: In the scene after the bus rolls down (when they are at the beach), one of the girls is wearing a red bikini, but when she gets in the water it's black. (00:13:40)
Continuity mistake: When Sarah is in the library, Kate comes and leans on the table next to her. When we first see her close up, her ponytail is dangling by her head, it zooms out and the ponytail is on her back, again it zooms in and is in front of her face, zooms back out and it's on her back again.
Continuity mistake: On Deer Island during the dinner party before the two lead characters marry, Angelina's character is seen to be carrying a glass of white wine. The scene changes, and the wine is now red when she sets it down on the table.
Continuity mistake: When Gabe is tied up in the chair, under his left eye we see a cut change to a scar and back several times.
Continuity mistake: When Jack shoots the cop Urick, the slug perforates his suit coat, both front and back, as well as his right lung. However, when he rendezvous with the Russians atop the parking garage, his suit coat is pristine. Had he changed into another identical coat, would he have not changed his bloody shirt and tie at the same time?
Continuity mistake: Throughout the film, Burton is continuously called the wrong rank. He introduces himself to Huard as Lieutenant Commander Burton in the beginning. Then calls himself "A 36-year-old, out-of-shape Lieutenant" when he boxes Huard, and is called Lieutenant Burton by the boxing coach during the fight against Cole.
Continuity mistake: When we see Tully dead for the second time, the dirt patterned on his face is different from the pattern seen previously in the film.
Continuity mistake: When Mr. Dulaine forces Rock and LaRhette to dance the waltz together, he takes off his necktie and blindfolds LaRhette with it. Throughout the scene the blindfold is different nearly every time the camera angle changes - the "tail" created by the wide end of the tie gets longer and shorter, the knot alternately loosens and tightens and moves from side to side across the back of her head, and the whole thing slides up and down her nose. It's so distracting I spent the whole scene watching to see how it was going to move next.
Continuity mistake: When Joey Lawrence and the rest of the androids catch up to the run-away prisoner after Lawrence lets them go, they tell Joey to walk towards him. Each back shot of Joey he has his right arm in front of his chest. Every front shot both arms are at his sides. This happens the whole scene.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Marilyn arrives at the bar to see her friend Liz, as she sits down there is only a bowl of olives in front of her. A few shots later, there is now a drink in front of her as well. Never during the scene does she order a drink, or does a bartender set one down in front of her. (00:33:15 - 00:34:25)
Continuity mistake: When the guy who swears way too much is pointing a flamethrower at the two other characters in the garage, he's holding the flamethrower nozzle in his right hand. But when he goes to roll up his left sleeve to show them his arm, he uses his right hand, and it's a direct sequence cut (note the left hand is visible in the same shot and is not holding the flamethrower). After he rolls his sleeve up, he's holding the flamethrower nozzle in his right hand again.
Continuity mistake: Tom's spacecraft is first seen rotating on its axis while it travels upward along that axis. When the scene cuts from the exterior to the interior and Tom lands on the ground, the stars outside are no longer moving in a way to indicate rotation, although the illusion of upward motion is preserved. The fact that we see the stars moving at all is a bit unrealistic given how fast one would have to travel for this to be noticeable, but since this is fiction and in the future we can imagine it is possible. (00:07:25)
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film, Violet infiltrates the complex and makes her way into a white room with tons of men in white suits. She starts fighting them and when a couple of guys come at her, she moves quickly and one guy stabs the other in the chest. When she goes to elbow one of the guys in the face, watch his helmet, it comes flying off, revealing his head and hair. When the camera quickly changes to another angle, his helmet is on perfectly straight. (01:17:45)
Continuity mistake: In the second wedding scene the amounts of confetti everywhere, changes.
Continuity mistake: When Fischer was quickly getting his clothes on to get to base after he spent the first night with his girlfriend, he put a shirt on, and then in the next shot he didn't have a shirt on and he put the same shirt on again.
Continuity mistake: While watching the movie "Cars" in the theatre, seated in the audience Aryan, Jai and Sunehri are shown talking for barely five minutes. But the scenes of the movie "Cars", which are shown in the middle of their conversations, are very far apart. This is impossible.
Continuity mistake: In the scene after the 'one year later' title, where Anderson wakes up on the couch, he is wearing red plaid boxers. The following shot shows him feeding the mouse, followed by a shot of Anderson again, but this time he is wearing grey underwear while he drinks pickle juice.
Continuity mistake: After Marnie and Dylan get out of the cab and walk up to the first building, they're not carrying the luggage, then in the next scene, they have the luggage again.
