Factual error: In the scene when the kids are on the boat hunting the snakeheads, Amber fires at least eight shots from a six shot, snub-nose revolver. Her friend then grabs the gun and fires two more shots from it.
Continuity mistake: When Ash breaks the window in the house at Long Island all the glass disappears in the window, apart from a little at the top. However, in the next shot when Telly and Ash walk through the window, all the glass has vanished.
Continuity mistake: Ashley Judd is sitting in a bar with Andy Garcia when an ex boyfriend walks in. She says to Andy, "I do not get involved with ex-boyfriends." During that line the camera is to her left and she is holding a drink almost to her mouth. While she says the word "involved," the camera switches to her right side and she is not holding a drink. (00:31:00)
Continuity mistake: When Kirstie Alley is having a breakdown on the news set, the arrangement of the yellow papers next to her changes between shots.
Visible crew/equipment: After making love with William in the bedroom upstairs, Annabelle is sitting on the bed. The closet door creaks open and you can see an arm holding a stick move back into the closet after pushing the door open. It is visible just to the left of the chair by the closet door. (Film was viewed on The Movie Channel.)
Plot hole: During the end of the film chase scene, Agent Mackelway calls Agent Kulok and gives her a vague location of where they are and asks for back up. Considering Mackelway had been kidnapped and driven out into the country, it should have taken Kulok much longer to arrive at the scene instead of the few minutes that are indicated.
Deliberate mistake: When Dwight Yoakum is being shot by Rita, and he is holding Lew, you can plainly see Lew has earplugs in to muffle the gunshot.
Continuity mistake: When Allison is on her bed writing a letter to David (when the bad guy comes in) to tell her he loves her, she's written four lines on the paper and then they show it and she's written five lines.
Factual error: Marie discovers that letters in a 9th century ornament are actually Arabic numerals. Those were not introduced into Europe until the 13th century and although the numbering system was already in use in Arabia, it used different glyphs than the ones she identified.
Factual error: When Trevor is struck by the VW Beetle, not only is he not thrown forward along the Beetle's path, he actually lands well behind the point of impact - more than half the length of the parked van. He doesn't bounce off another object that changes his direction. He's just thrown up, then falls rearward above the car. (01:08:35)
Factual error: A murder investigation would not be handled by a Detective Constable (he says he's in charge). Detective Chief Inspector is the usual minimum rank for a senior investigating officer, and such a high profile murder investigation is likely to be under a higher ranking senior officer.
Continuity mistake: In the very beginning, just before impact, Walker goes out onto the balcony for a supposed security breach. Over the radio, the other officer refers to him as Sgt. Walker, but he, and others refer to him as Capt. Walker.
Continuity mistake: When mixing drugs to overdose the others in their kitchen, while wearing a gas mask, Richard (soldier) has long hair, yet throughout the rest of the film he has short shaved hair.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Rennie drives to the "Towers Motel" in the exterior shot the car is casting a shadow to it's left. In the next shot (interior view), the trees standing outside cast a shadow to their right.
Other mistake: After the cops pull Kevin Dillon from his car with aluminum foil on the windows, the aerial view reveals that both black and whites have the same number - 405 - painted on the roof.
Continuity mistake: When the ball is happening during the film Taylor Brooks (the female Skull) has no burn scar on her wrist at all, despite being branded like all the other Skulls in a prior scene.
Continuity mistake: Roland had given Nikita a necklace to wear with a tracking device in it. Nikita is shown talking to her dad with necklace on then she goes to pool house to talk with Roland and necklace is absent.
Continuity mistake: Simon gets groceries, carries them home in two bags, and is then in the hallway without any groceries. It is never clear that he sets them down. (01:20:35 - 01:21:40)
Continuity mistake: Mariska Hargitay's necklace disappears and re-appears during court. (01:10:25 - 01:11:30)
Other mistake: In the end credits, Allison's surname is given as "French". This is her sister's married name, which Allison would obviously not share - Allison should still have their maiden name, which is Henderson.
