Continuity mistake: When Alexander builds an altar for Titans to mark the furthest point he has reached, both him and Hephaestion are reasonably recovered from severe wounds they suffered during the battle of Hydaspes, which was the last battle mentioned. However, we can see scratches and minor injuries on many characters' faces that appear very fresh and would have disappeared without a trace in the time it took for the deeper wounds to heal.
Continuity mistake: When Frankie and Lizzie meet the Stranger on the docks Sunday at 1:00pm, it is quite overcast when the Stranger asks Frankie, "Right. You choose, where do you want to go?" The shot immediately moves to a hillside overlooking the docks and the skies are almost completely clear and blue. We know a narrow window of time has passed based on information on what transpires before and after this scene. (01:10:50)
Continuity mistake: There is a scene where Audrey and Daniel are talking and the camera switches back and forth between close up shots of them - Daniel has a strand of hair that keeps appearing and disappearing in front of his forehead.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Becky is talking to Steyne on the balcony of his house just after she has performed in the masque for his guests, she still has quite a quantity of black eye make-up visible under and around her eyes. In the next scene, just after they step back inside, it's gone.
Continuity mistake: When Sam runs into the RA's room to escape the press, she closes the door. When she and James leave the room shortly after, the door opens on the other side of the door frame and there is an "RA" on the outside of the door that wasn't there before.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where they go to the party and dance with the sticks, there is an overhead view of the whole party. Johnny and Lalita are dancing in the middle, and just before the camera cuts to another view, Lalita drops one of her sticks, but has it in following shots.
Continuity mistake: When Luther is having dinner with Jackie, he picks up his napkin twice.
Continuity mistake: Before the final play begins on opening night, Annette Benning receives her husband Michael in her dressing room, and her nails are polished dark red. Then, during the scenes showing her performance on stage, her nails have no polish at all. However, when the play is over and she is back at her dressing room, receiving the congratulations of her husband, friends, etcetera, her nails are again polished dark red. She did not remove the polish and reapply it.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Ben Affleck gets hit in the head by the shovel in the beginning, when the shovel is about to hit him, the paper is not on fire for a split second. Then when he's on the ground it's on fire again.
Continuity mistake: After Dan hits Carter he develops a bruise by his eye. It is there for the next several scenes but sometimes it looks red and swollen and sometimes it is quite faded then it will go back to swollen.
Continuity mistake: The day the Brewers retire Stan's number, we see him standing at the bottom of the stairs in the dugout. Then as they call him out, he is not longer standing at the bottom of the stairs, but comes from the left and walks up them.
Continuity mistake: When Howl first flies with Young Sophie, he wears a ring on each hand. As they take off, one of the rings momentarily vanishes.
Continuity mistake: Flynn's hair changes dramatically from when Deborah arrives and when they sit down on the couch.
Continuity mistake: During the showdown's sword fight between Lansing and Faisal in the palace hall, there is a far-off shot in which the blade of Lansing's sword can just barely be seen bending off at an unnatural angle, revealing it as a prop. Continuity mistake: When Lisa uses a vibrator, you can see in the background of Matt's bedroom a chair with some books on it. However, just about a little over a minute into the scene, when the camera switches between Matt and Lisa, right before she climaxes, the books are gone from the chair. (00:42:45 - 00:43:50)
