Revealing mistake: When the megalodon attacks the yacht the party goers jump off the yacht, and some of them reach the large round safety raft. To the raft's right, there is a visible yellow line attached to it so it doesn't drift away for the shots.
Factual error: The rifles the British soldiers carried in the film were Lee Enfield rifle No. 4's, these did not go into production until WW2. They should have been using an earlier version of the Lee Enfield rifle.
Factual error: When the archangels jump from the helicopter, the "bait" is looking behind him saying he can see the dragon. For a parajumper to look between his legs to view behind himself, he would de-arch and thus de-stabilise himself while travelling at that speed. It would send the jumper into a barrel-roll spin.
Factual error: When Ellen gets married in 1907 she is 20, but when she disappears in 1950 she is 70.
Audio problem: When John rips the phone out of the wall, when it hits the floor it makes a bell sound even though its a cordless phone.
Continuity mistake: Before Alice enters the building, you can see part of her newspaper sticking out of her bag - the area that is visible just contains text. After she enters the building, there is another shot of her from behind, and now the paper is showing part of a picture and the barcode. (00:06:15)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the film, the little boy has big brown eyes. 19 years later, when the boy is shown as an adult in the diner, he has big blue eyes.
Continuity mistake: Ray comes to Buck's hotel room with the stolen disk containing the revised speech. At the shot when Buck is sitting at the computer reading the speech, he has a wedding ring on. Buck isn't married.
Plot hole: The dead young girl who wears white has hemophilia (uncontrollable bleeding), and her mother states that she's scared of all sharp metal objects (scissors, etc.), yet she goes to play in an old abandoned steel mill all the time.
Revealing mistake: When Becky meets Simon in the cube, they hug, then Simon literally stabs Becky in the back. As she falls down to the floor, her black shirt reveals not only some of her chest, but part of a black microphone wire. (01:15:15)

Factual error: After Joe spends sometime underwater in the bus, he goes into the village and pulls a picture of his wife out of his pocket to show the village people. After getting that wet, a picture will not be intact, and it would pretty much be stuck together.

Continuity mistake: In the scene on the ferry, when Williams and Pacino are talking, in the shots showing Williams, Pacino is facing the center of the ferry frequently, while immediately afterward in the shots showing Pacino, he is facing Williams again.
Visible crew/equipment: Crew members are briefly reflected in the front of a train as we see the main characters walk away from the train. Specifically, look for a man in a red tee-shirt.

Plot hole: When Eldon checks out the address Van Meter gave him he finds where Orchard and Sidwell are living. All well and good, except: A) The utilities bill is in the names of Orchard and Sidwell, who are known wanted felons in L.A. and B) even more implausibly, the bill is in BOTH their names.
Factual error: Chuck and Penny are seen drinking Rolling Rock beer in clear glass bottles. But Rolling Rock beer has always come in green glass bottles.
