Continuity mistake: At the very end when the Nicklebys are confronting their Uncle Ralph, at one point Ralph slumps down over his desk. He's off screen and you hear the thud of him falling, but the eyelines of the people on-screen don't change a bit; they continue looking slightly upward. You'd think if he was falling over they'd follow him down with their eyes and they'd move at least a little.
Continuity mistake: When Candy and Darlene are sitting at the makeup mirror in the hotel visiting, the strap on Darlene's left shoulder disappears and reappears several times.
Continuity mistake: When Joe is chasing Sara near the start, through a revolving door there's a man walking down the corridor from one angle who's not visible from the other side.
Continuity mistake: When Kent drives off the cliff his car starts out as a 1969 Lincoln Continental but when it goes over the cliff it has an extra set of windows.
Continuity mistake: When Lucy has purchased an orange tree and catches a taxi, its number is different than the one that drops her off at Barry's shop. Could be put down to her catching two different taxi's - however when she leaves the shop and climbs into another taxi, this one has the same number as the very first one she climbed into.
Continuity mistake: When the team has their first game against the old guys, the first shot by the lead is wrong. Watch carefully and you will notice that the direction of the rotation of the stones changes about three times from clockwise to counter-clockwise during the same shot.
Continuity mistake: In the scene just following the opening physics exam we see the guys sitting smoking a joint and talking to Philip, the one they are paying to write the test. In one shot Sam hands Philip the joint and Philip says something about them doing better on tests if they stopped smoking pot. The shot changes to Sam speaking and he still has the joint. The shot changes to Philip and he is just handing the joint back to Sam.
Continuity mistake: When Craig Ferguson approaches Marie on the cable car, Caroline Ducey is holding her copy of Le Monde in a different way between shots - her right hand moved down and the corner that was crumpled is now straight. (00:07:50)
Continuity mistake: When Jerry hits the cab its windscreen cracks. The subsequent shots of the cab (when Katie helps him up, and when they drive off) show no sign of a crack. (01:17:35 - 01:18:55)
