Other mistake: When Ross drops Cook and Nikki off after he and Cook have spent the afternoon running errands and buying ingredients, Cook gets out of the car and goes straight into the motel room, without taking his ingredients with him.
Other mistake: When Mr. Hundert is chauffeured to Long Island for the second competition, he looks at a St. Benedict's Yearbook page on which the photographs of the original three contestants appear. The heading on the Yearbook page is prominently misspelled "Triumvers" instead of "Triumvirs," in this film whose focus is Roman history.
Other mistake: When May is sewing the red blouse for her coffee shop meeting with Adam, the presser foot of her sewing machine is not down. (00:10:20)
Other mistake: All the baseballs used in the movie (or at least the ones you can see up close), were official Major League Baseballs. At the time the movie is supposed to take place, 1999, Rawlings made separate baseballs for the American and National Leagues. The official Rawlings Major League Baseball wasn't used until 2000.
Other mistake: In the second scene where the Powerpuff Girls are on TV, Campbell Scott puts in a tape that has an old Disney sticker on the side. However, when the movie begins the Powerpuff Girls played, which is not Disney.
Other mistake: During the play where Sally walks out on Landon's character in the club, you can see Mandy eyeing Shane and smiling under her hood as if they weren't filming anymore. (00:37:10)

Other mistake: In the scene where Tom Hanks and his son are riding in the car and Hanks is telling about the aunt in Perdition, a shadow is casted onto the hood of the car. However, the reflection of the clouds in the windshield never get blocked out.
Other mistake: It's raining when Nameless and Sky are fighting (rain is dripping off their swords and is on Nameless' face when going towards Sky in slo-mo), but their entire bodies never get wet.

Other mistake: When Joe was dropping off Ellen Pompeo after she delivered the last wedding invitation, it was raining and the windsheild wipers were very loud but as soon as they started talking they stopped being so loud.
Other mistake: When Kelvin slices a cucumber he cuts his finger. The way he was attacking the cucumber he would have cut a piece of his finger off but not cut into it. The same happens again at the end of the movie. (00:03:30)
Other mistake: In the scene where Gwyneth Paltrow and Aaron Eckhart are talking about lesbian literature, the Geography of the University is all wrong. They start off walking down outside the Learning resource building (the library), and the next shot of of them travelling up an elevator, before exiting on the third floor of the library. But the elevator they travel in is actually located in the main University building, which is located opposite the library. I should know, I was at the University for six years.
Other mistake: When Ruben tries to speak to Amelia over the phone and leaves his number he gives his extension 117 (in the Spanish version and all subtitles), but in the English dubbed version he says 116. (00:17:45)
Other mistake: At the end of the film when Samuel L Jackson's character is standing looking across at his family, it is raining on his side but not on the other side of the road.
Other mistake: When Frank and Cathy talk about his homosexuality he says "I know it's a sickness". The German subtitles read "Schwäche" ("weakness") which is not just a bad but a wrong translation considering the perception of homosexuality in the fifties. (00:29:50)
Other mistake: When Al Pacino is supposedly dead, on the left side of his neck ( to our right ) his pulse can still be seen slightly.
Other mistake: The extras used as a live audience for the first "episodes" of "The Dating game" are the same used seconds before as an audience in the cinema scene where Chuck and Penny are kissing.
