Revealing mistake: When the two main characters explode and then implode near the end, you can see that some of the debris being sucked in are passing "through" various other objects, revealing they are computer generated.
Revealing mistake: When Tommy and her boys are roughing up Randolph in Angie's apartment, Tommy throws Randolph across the room into the piano. The vase sitting on top of the piano falls before Randolph ever touches the piano. Seen better in slow-mo. (00:57:20)
Revealing mistake: About 30min into the movie, there is a scene at an airport with a 4-engined 707 freighter. As the characters walk behind the jet, you can see that the left-hand inboard engine pod has no engine on it, unlike the outboard pod. The aircraft is obviously being dismantled despite the appearance of having just landed.
Revealing mistake: If you look at the instrument gauges right before the foil "bird" hits the windshield, you can see that the car isn't actually moving on its own because the speedometer is at zero. All of the warning lights are on also, meaning the car most likely isn't started at all and the key is just turned forward. (00:32:50)
Revealing mistake: When Gil is looking at the "Blip Abuse Continues" article, you can see the same paragraph repeated many times. (00:55:15)
Revealing mistake: In the scene where UB breaks into Feather office you can see a mark on the door where he is supposed to kick in order to break it.
Revealing mistake: The spy contact lenses that Owen Wilson and Eddie Murphy use were originally supposed to be for Carlos, but if you notice, the lens that Owen Wilson uses is blue to match his eye colour. Carlos has brown eyes.
Revealing mistake: When you watch the accident scene frame by frame you see that Laroche's mother and uncle are replaced by dummies. You can see the joints in his mother's hands and a large spring that holds his uncle's head in place. (00:41:50)
Revealing mistake: When the boy runs from the jumping spider he crosses the road, which makes the eighteen wheeler lose control and it jacknifes. You can clearly see a set of tyres are moving with the right direction of the truck, and there are a set of tyres sliding. (00:40:55)
Revealing mistake: After blue-Marty exits the pool he heads upstairs and when Jason and Kaylee spy on him dancing (with Mr. FB) Marty's entire body is dyed blue, but the blue only reaches to just above the bottom of his bare feet.
Revealing mistake: When the coroners are taking Kemosabe's body to the hearse, the one who falls over the porch wall is wearing calf padding which can be seen bulging under his pant leg before he falls.
Revealing mistake: When Howard Butterworth accidentally sucks a cat up into a Super Sucker vacuum, it is blatantly obvious that the half of the cat hanging out of the machine is a plush cat toy-the "paws" of the toy (which are orange) don't even match the paws of the actual cat (which are white). (00:23:40)
Revealing mistake: The Bears' bus is driving by a green highway sign reading something like "Nutville 2". Road signs are normally made of something rigid. But as the bus passes, the sign ripples in the breeze, and you can tell it's just made of fabric or plastic.
Revealing mistake: In the scene in which Ryan Dunn jumps into cacti with his BMX bike Preston Lacy is supposedly yanked off of his couch by the momentum of Ryan's jump. However, if you look closely in the background it is obvious that Preston Lacy hardly moves at all from Ryan's jump and the effect was edited in later. [In reality, Dunn barely even movied Lacy. The crew reshot it and pulled Preston off the couch by hand.]
Revealing mistake: When Jack and Algy are singing "Lady, Come Down" to try to get the women to listen to them again, the above shots of Algy playing the piano do not match the music being played. He scarcely even seems to try to make it look real.
Revealing mistake: When Marisa first leaves the hotel with Chris and all of the photographers are snapping them outside the door, Chris promises them all special access to an event he's going to and they all turn away. The last one stares right into the camera for a good couple of seconds.
Revealing mistake: When Pistachio spits out the cherries at the henchman, in one shot you can clearly see that they are coming in from two angles, and not just from Pistachio. (01:01:55)
Revealing mistake: When Steve and Terry first attempt to catch the rogue crocodile in the river, during several shots you can see that the river bank is concrete and fake rocks.
Revealing mistake: During the divorce hearing George's ex-wife throws water at Lucy. She seems to miss as you don't see any water on Lucy, but Lucy turns around and starts dabbing herself frantically. (00:21:20)
Revealing mistake: When Lanie and Pete drop off Pete's son, he is supposed to be asleep, but as they pull up to the house you can see the kid awake and talking and only when the car stops does he close his eyes.
