Audio problem: At the graduation in the beginning, the percussion section is playing on concert snares, but the sound those snares are making is that of Kevlar heads on a high tension snare. It is not possible to tune a concert snare to sound like that.
Audio problem: After Toula's mother hangs up the phone and continues peeling potatoes you hear a clicking sound. She stops for a second to turn the potato and the clicking sound continues while she is not peeling.
Audio problem: When J'lo leaves out the door after the big gala and Chris runs after her, he stops her and they begin to talk. when she says the line "I made so many mistakes already" you can hear her say "look" before she says that line, but you actually see her say "I" instead.
Audio problem: When Daphne, Mary-Jane, Scooby and Shaggy awake on the beach, they walk off into crowds of people playing and partying. Shaggy then says "Does anyone else think this is strange?" Shaggy's mouth doesn't move at all to this line though. (00:45:30)
Audio problem: In the scene where all the towns residents take refuge in the Prosperity Mall, the mall's janitor/caretaker guy says something to the female sheriff with the camera facing him. In mid sentence the camera angle changes to behind the janitor but at an angle - you can hear him keep on talking but you can see that his jaw is perfectly still meaning that he can't possibly be talking. Audio problem: In the beginning when Davey is burping, the sound of the peoples' glasses breaking is a little early.
Audio problem: When Jane and the purple elephant were "getting intimate" in one of the changing rooms at her work, she was talking to him but her mouth wasn't moving. (00:44:10)
Audio problem: In the scene where Fook Mi is explaining about her sister and her names, she points to her sister and says "Fook Yu." Then she points to herself and says "Fook Mi. See?" When she says this, you can see that her mouth doesn't move.
Audio problem: When Lanie is drunk and interviewing the teamster, you can see her mouthing his lines.
Audio problem: In the basketball stadium scene, when Deeds is checking everything to make sure it's all right, the violin player plays a couple of notes. The violin player's fingers and bowing don't match the notes he's playing.
Audio problem: When Marcus is opening the CD on Christmas you can hear the rip of the wrapping paper just before he actually rips it.
Audio problem: When Schmidt's wife is chopping food on a cutting board, the sound of the chopping doesn't match the action.
Audio problem: When Abby, an elf, is about to tell Santa that Charlie is on the naughty list, she says something about 'Brazilian cocoa beans'. As this line is heard, you can see that her mouth is moving completely differently from the words we hear.
Audio problem: When Willy Jones and Moly are slapping each other in Moly's donut shop, Moly says "hey buddy" but his lips don't move.
Audio problem: When Pistachio has the flashback in the gym, the guy says, "Think you got muscles now, try this." When Pistachio says O.K, his mouth doesn't move at all.
Audio problem: When Juni falls into the "volcano", Carmen attaches a harness to a branch and dives after him. She grabs him and then seconds later the harness snaps. It then cuts to a shot of Juni and Carmen plummeting down the volcano, and you hear Carmen yell "Juni!" yet her mouth is shut tight. (00:48:05)
Audio problem: In the scene of the final exam James King is given a hair doll. You hear her say "Ethan, is this a hair doll?" As she is saying that, the camera turns to her and she's not speaking.
Audio problem: When Andrew's mother grabs Melanie's hand and realizes that Melanie has a ring, she say something to Andrew and at the same time Melanie says, "If it's all the same to you I would like to keep it..." Then his mom says, "You're Engaged?" Melanie is in the corner mouthing "quiet" but you don't hear it till the next shot. (00:12:40)
Audio problem: When Kevin turns around from the monitor and sees Prescott for the first time, he screams and then it cuts to a different shot a bit too early, cutting the scream off too early as well.
Audio problem: In the scene in the foster home playground where Tracy Reynolds tells Calvin that he is going to adopt him, Calvin has tears (or sweat) running down his face, then the tears are gone and then they return again. However, at no time during or after the adoption conversation (or anywhere in the film for that matter) does Calvin shed any tears. They are likely from an earlier scene that was deleted.
