Continuity mistake: In the scene where Rafe is fighting for Britain his plane gets hit. As it goes down into the water, it is day. Later when they show him swimming out of the plane and to the surface, it is night. (00:41:30 - 01:10:10)
Continuity mistake: In one of the ice skating rink scenes, the camera looks at John Cusack and there is no snow falling. It then cuts to Kate Beckinsale and it is snowing heavily. (00:09:25)

Continuity mistake: The three Marine helicopters leaving the carrier are three UH1N Marine model helicopters. When they arrive in Bosnia to rescue the downed Navy pilot the same helicopters become two Bell model 205C and a Bell 412. When landing back on the carrier with the rescued pilot, they are again N models. (01:26:50)
Continuity mistake: When Thade takes the weapon from Leo the weapon is a futuristic laser type gun. When Thade is firing the weapon after being locked in the command centre, the gun is a stainless steel Beretta brigadier model. (01:50:00)
Continuity mistake: In the scene just after Joe finds his parents, when they are sitting in their trailer talking, his parents have a stuffed clown between them. Just before Joe asks them if there ever was a time when they'd be staring at the moon, the clown is slumped forward with its face not visible. In the next shot, when his mom starts her sales pitch about having clowns for sale, the clown is now standing upright between them.
Continuity mistake: Near the beginning of film, Peter Boyle's character opens a newspaper, and on the front page is a story about a death row inmate who is scheduled to die "tonight." However, he does not die "tonight," but rather the following night. On the evening of the day on which the erroneous newspaper headline appears, the prison guards gather at a local bar. The next day, the prisoner is taken to a special cell to await his execution, which occurs TWO nights after the newspaper headline said he was to be executed. (00:08:15)
Continuity mistake: When the members of the brotherhood beat up Mani until he is dead, they pick him up above their heads. The tattoo on his torso appears to be on his right side, whereas in previous and following scenes the tattoo is on his left side. That shot is flipped.
Continuity mistake: When Shannon Elizabeth is attacked by the ghost she has scratches on her face, then when they are all sitting huddled in the corner the next shot of her, there are no scratches on her face. (01:30:01)
Continuity mistake: When Brittany Murphy writes down the number on the glass she writes it backwards because that's how she sees it in her mind. Watch closely, though, and you'll see a perfectly normal 2 which isn't written as a mirror image of 5. Later, when Michael Douglas realizes this catch, he looks at the piece of glass again, this time from the other side, and the 2 has turned into a 5, which apparently was written in a different style. Continuity mistake: There is a scene about 2/3 of the way in the movie where you see Jamal (Martin) standing by the lake and his chain is under his shirt, he looks back into the forest and his chain is hanging out of his shirt, then he goes back to the lake and his chain is under his shirt again. Continuity mistake: On the jousting scene where William loses his helmet, he has a monstrous bruise under his right eye (in the late afternoon). That night at the banquet, there is no trace of the bruise. So far as I know, even a black eye doesn't completely heal that quickly. (00:49:50 - 00:55:25)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning when Chris and his band go to the concert, they are in the front standing next to the stage. However, when the camera cuts to show the entire audience, different people are standing where Chris and his band were. From that view, Chris and his band are not even in the audience.
Continuity mistake: In the scene taking place at the fountain, Danilov's rifle has a round receiver. When he hands the rifle over to Zaitsev, the rifle has a hex receiver. When Zaitsev hands the rifle back, the rifle has a round receiver again. (00:17:30)
Continuity mistake: When Dr. Grant gets rescued by the kid and they are sitting in the water tank (truck) eating candy bars, they show the kid eating a "Crunch" bar with no wrapper, just in the tin foil. In the next shot, you see him eating the same candy bar, but the "Crunch" wrapper is now on. Then, in the third shot, it cuts back to the kid, and the wrapper is gone, and you only see tin foil again. When Dr. Grant asks the kid about Ian Malcolm's book, the wrapper is intact. (00:46:40)
Continuity mistake: After Jet Li has arrived in France and has left the cab, he is walking up a road which seems like China Town to find the shop with dragon in the window. As he arrives near the shop a prostitute with a long black jacket and red hair is standing and talking to a man wearing jeans. Then Jet looks at the picture and then at the dragon, the camera angle changes and as Jet is about to walk in you see the same woman standing against the wall and the man has done the Jet Li vanishing act.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Thora Birch's character goes to a café with her psychologist, the psychologist takes a bite of a cake and puts it back on the table. In the next scene, the cake has not been touched.
Continuity mistake: When Bretodeau picks up the treasure box, inside the phone booth, the way he holds it changes between shots. (00:30:20)
