Continuity mistake: At the big dinner, Clarisse tries to show the Japanese man some pictures and he shakes his head as he eats his green soup. A minute later, they serve the green soup.
Continuity mistake: After Joe picks his daughter up from her mother's, they drive into Minneapolis. While Joe is talking to his daughter, you can see Macaroni Grill and Galyns out the window as they drive past. After a quick shot of the daughter, when the camera is back on Joe, if you look out the car window again, they are passing the same establishments.
Continuity mistake: This error occurs when Tom finds a deer on the side of the road, slices it open, and wears its skin as a suit. After he is dancing with it on, he gets hit by the big truck. Now, if you look closely, when he gets hit, one of his shoes fall off, but when the camera gets closer to him lying on the ground, he has both shoes on his feet. (00:17:00)
Continuity mistake: When Juni handcuffs the metal box to his wrist, it switches back forth from his right wrist to his left over and over again. (00:35:05)
Continuity mistake: When Zoolander, Hansel and Matilda are drinking the tea near the end of the movie, the "steam" in Zoolander's cup keeps on changing to from overflowing the cup, to half way down and none. This is without ever refilling his cup. He can even be seen blowing some of the steam out and next thing it's full again. (00:58:00)
Continuity mistake: When the 3 girls drive up to Val, Mel and Josie at the bowling alley after the Pussycats gig, one of them puts a Coke can on the top of the car and you can clearly see there's no picture on it. In the next shot, you can see a picture of one of the guys from DuJour on it.
Factual error: The film is set in 1997. There is a scene where Amelie knocks on a house door and in the background is a new model VW Beetle. These weren't available until early 1998. You can also see several scenes with various new models of Fiat Punto and VW Golf which weren't available until 1999. (00:19:00)
Continuity mistake: On the jousting scene where William loses his helmet, he has a monstrous bruise under his right eye (in the late afternoon). That night at the banquet, there is no trace of the bruise. So far as I know, even a black eye doesn't completely heal that quickly. (00:49:50 - 00:55:25)
Factual error: Jonathan is lying in the middle of the skating rink when the second cashmere glove falls upon him. Looking around, he notices Sarah at the edge of the rink. Despite Sarah being a female and the fact that it is snowing, even Nolan Ryan would have a difficult time throwing something as light as cashmere that distance. (01:22:05)
Continuity mistake: During the scene in the mall when the girl is in the dressing room, she keeps putting on more layers of clothing. But as they are shooting different shots she will have a hot pink shirt on, then it is back on the hanger, and then back on again. It switches back and forth many times. (01:00:50)
Other mistake: When Judith is locked in J.D. and Wayne's basement, she is first wearing a long night gown and she is chained at the ankle to an engine. Then she is given a box of clothes to use and she is next seen wearing shorts - how did she put them on if she was chained at the ankle? (00:45:10)
Audio problem: On the first level of the video game, after Velma brings up what she remembers what Eric said about the Scooby snacks in the game, you hear Daphne talking but you see Velma's lips moving. (00:01:00)
Plot hole: How could the police miss finding Cybil in the trunk of Michael Zane's car when it was in an impound lot? They would have definitely searched the car if he was found in violation of a federal offence (for carrying the weapons). Even if they didn't do a search, they would certainly have heard the sounds that Cybil would have made from being locked in the trunk.
Factual error: In the begining at the bridge ceremony, the band plays Manhattan Beach by John Philip Sousa. However, Manhattan Beach was composed in 1893. (00:00:50)
Continuity mistake: There is a scene about 2/3 of the way in the movie where you see Jamal (Martin) standing by the lake and his chain is under his shirt, he looks back into the forest and his chain is hanging out of his shirt, then he goes back to the lake and his chain is under his shirt again. (00:58:30)
Factual error: When the Betty Doll takes off, there is a rapid fire selection of different shots of how the craze is impacting the nation. During the baseball scene, the shot starts with a L.A. Dodger (Eric Karros) hitting a pitch from a New York Mets pitcher (appears to be John Franco). The shot changes to that of the baseball going into the stands... in Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning when Chris and his band go to the concert, they are in the front standing next to the stage. However, when the camera cuts to show the entire audience, different people are standing where Chris and his band were. From that view, Chris and his band are not even in the audience.
Continuity mistake: In the scene just before Lance Barton gets crushed by a bus, they show the character of Keys, waiting nearby disguised as a homeless man, waiting for the accident to happen. However, there was no reason for him to disguise himself in the first place as nobody on earth could see him anyway. In all the other scenes, just before somebody dies, he wears the same clothes (his heavenly uniform.)
Continuity mistake: When the family is at the funeral home and the audience can see the casket, it has a picture of angels riding up to heaven. It is very colourful and eye catching, but at the church during the actual funeral, the casket has all red cloth covering the inside of it.
Continuity mistake: When Sulley places the menu on the table he puts it face down (logo first), then when he lifts up the table, to quickly get Boo, the menu is face up. (00:26:05)
